But then you are just replicating a less deserving Hall of Fame. That would be rather meaningless. Most of the more deserving ones that aren't in the HoF continually get recognition through 5 Stars events and getting a clap at half time when they are over to do a draw.
The best thing to do would be to do it for everyone who has played a competitive first team game. The only contention then is to judge whether older competitions such as the Glasgow Cup, Merchants Charity Cup and the Inter-City League should be counted for appearances. Rangers are over 150 years old now and like or not people like Barton, Black and Senderos have contributed to the story.

Based on these stats the OP maybe has a point and ties in to what we've seen so far. He has looked pish with us but the 272 stat backs this up. The 139 stat gives us slim hope that there might be a player in there that we've just not seen yet.
Better players than Dessers have completely turned their careers round with us after a poor start.

I'am absolutely cut up & devastated and no words can describe how I am feeling right now. Ben was my lifelong best friend, we have been through everything together - he was a brother to me. I have more memories with him than I do anybody else, from going to Ibrox together every second week and thousands more - memories I will now cherish for the rest of my life.
Reading the posts in this thread, people who did & did not know him personally sharing their kind words, its the only thing that has made me smile in the last 48hrs. He was a great guy and one of a kind and that goes to show.

I think expecting wholesale changes or a turnaround in approach / performance is jumping the gun. He’ll have had 3 or 4 training sessions.
A win and any kind of change to the high press and I’ll be delighted.
Guys expecting Tav dropped, youth players starting, and whole new style, are just setting themselves up for disappointment.
