It's stands to reason that all squad players would have been told 6 to 8 weeks ago whether they had a future at the club or bot. Its not unreasonable to suggest that by the beginning of March, agents would be asking the question on behalf of their players.
Clement and Koppen would also want to start planning for next season.
This may or may not have resulted in core leadership players like Goldson, Tav, Barisic, Lundstram downing tools and dragging others down with them.
IMO the above players have a history of this type of behaviour, if they don't like the answer to or things don't go in their favour, they drop their attitude and performance.
It's a cancer that need cut out of the club.
We're talking years of end of season capitulation here.

The fact we couldn't cobble together £3m for Shankland is a fucking embarrassment in itself.
Especially when the investment could potentially have returned £60m.
