The thing is the filth are doing their absolute best to make it a competitive league, but we are shitting it going toe to toe with them. Sorry but it's not good enough.

90 minutes away from European football after Christmas and still within touching distance of the beasts. 
Murty, Caixinha and Warburton were all given plenty of time to get things going and they didn't. 
We're nearly halfway through Gerrard’s first term in charge, yes things could've been better but to deny that there hasn't been progression under him is quite hilarious in itself. 
I honestly don't know what people expected from the start of the season up until now, nobody gave us a chance in Europe and we were all told we were lightyears behind the tarriers, yet here we are still in contention. 

That we're a work in progress. 
December was always going to be a hard month. 
We'll struggle without Morelos. 
Midfield and up top badly need an injection of quality, and it will be dealt with in January. 
Nothing is won or lost in December.

The squad at this moment in time isn't strong enough to win a league title, but realistically who would have thought that after one window it would have been? That's pretty ambitious unless you have mega ££££ to throw at it, which we don't, and even at that there is no guarantees. I still thik SG is the right man for us, but it will take time, we need to give him that. We cannot allow this stopping the bheasts winning 10iar to destroy us for what could be a very promising future for the club. If it means a few years of groundwork is required before we really kick on and enter a new golden era of the club under SG then I couldn't give 2 fucks about their 10. I couldnt give 2 fucks for anything that mob do.

When it boils down we are still on course. This is where we would have been happy to be at this point if given the choice at the start of the season.
