I've had an ST almost every year for 25 years and I've sat in many different seats and never thought of it as my seat even the seat I was in for 5 years in a row
Sitting in the same seat for 10 years makes you no different than any other 10 year ST holder
Don't see why anyone would think "I want to go see Rangers, but only from that seat, id chuck it if I coudlnt sit in that seat"

Seems to be getting said a lot on here as of late. Some people don't seem to understand that when opinions don't matter when facts are presented
Seems to be any time someones ran out of arguments on here they just repeat themselves for a bit then go "well that's just my opinion" as if that justifies them ignoring all the facts presented to them

The good of the club has to come before an individual fan, especially over something as insignificant as what seat you sit in.

They've been trying to expand for a while I believe 
I severely doubt anyone who moved into the standing section would later be moved again to accommodate the UBs 
There are many groups pishing for this, at least 70 RSCs. The Union Bears have taken the initiative to start the campaign so of course their members should be in with a shout
I've seen nothing to suggest the UBs want to be "in charge" of the section. Of course it wouldn't be fair if UBs got to pick and choose who gets in but that is not what's happening 
If this goes thru the Club should make room for every ST holders who signs up for it, doubt that will happen but I also doubt it will just be UBs. If any other group had put the time and effort in then they'd be leading the campaign but the UB have put themselves forward when others didn't
I reckon you could have a section with 5000 standing easily but that's unlikely. Some will miss out and some will be lucky
Some of the reactions in this thread are similar to the reaction when we get the tims in a final, folk complaining they are hard done by feeling sorry for themselves when nothing's even happening yet

As someone who has been very critical of the UBs in the past I am disappointed at the response to this 
The UBs have taken the initiative to propose this on behalf of all fans who want to stand not just their own group 
I fully understand that some people's seats have sentimental value to them but at the end of the day it's just a seat. If we were moving to a new stadium or putting new seats in then people would be forced to move, if they were rebuilding a stand folk would be forced to move, and if a section of the stadium is being changed to standing then fans will be forced to move. I think some are being a bit immature and acting like they're being singled out or hard done by when that's simply not the case
Seems like a lot of folk feel like they don't want a standing area and therefore can't fathom why anyone else would. I think some are just going against this for the sake of it. And some are going "Aye go for it just not in my section" but that's not how it works 
Guaranteed in every single section in Ibrox there will be folk who've sat there for years and wouldn't want to move so theres no way to ensure no one has to move
This isn't the UBs rocking the boat there are seeking answers on behalf of all fans.
Some should just stop acting all hard done by, some will have to move some won't no one is being singled out and at the end of the day the Club own the seats and the stadium and a standing area will improve matchday experience so the Club have every right to implement it

See when they introduced seating was there a bunch auld cunts going "I've stood there for years and don't wanty move, dunno why folk would wanty sit anyway"? 
If the stadiums being changed it's being changed and folk will have to move to accommodate the changes. End of.
