I think he's done well for himself coming through his op and having managed to play so many games for us and all and good luck to the guy. He's a decent enough player but not the brilliant one that some of our fans have tried to make out over the years - would struggle to make the bench in most past eras.

Given all that I hope his time with us is up, for me he should have been gone after the Hibs semi, but that's just me and I know some will disagree. I think he's a bit deluded tbh and thinks he's better than he is but needs to remember no-one wanted him when his contract was up. When he's gone, I can't honestly think of much he'll be remembered for.

Positives will be being part of a record breaking defence that won 55 and taking us to a European final.

A lot more negatives to be fair including being at fault for conceding in that European final and being part of too many league and cup collapses.

  2. The rangers men stuff always seems to reappear when results turn.

We've had a few rangers men in these teams over the years and they still collapsed.

What we really need is players with better ability and character. Guys on the pitch who will not accept 2nd best and embrace pressure to win rather than folding under it.

So you have this and then his partner in crime goldson with his game was over remarks on the hibs semi final and we wonder why the squad buckles under pressure

And these two are meant to be the leaders in the squad.

I'd honestly look to move both on.

I get with tav were losing his goal contributions. But these guys have now been here several seasons and barring 1 season consistently bottled it. At some point enough has to be enough.

He came here, inherited a pile of shite, the turn around he managed to achieve with that shite was incredible, now for what ever reason they seem to have hit a brick wall and returned to playing the way they played pre Clement - three or four weeks ago he was being hailed as the best manager since Walter now he's a dud, I for one am glad he's at the club.

The main reason is pressure. The league looked lost when Clement came in and the turnaround was impressive. But once these players got top of the league you could see the drop off. They can't cope with the pressure.

Barring one season 55 we've seen that under 4 different managers now.

Guarantee if the league is lost soon they'll start playing again because that's what they have always done when pressure is gone.

Clement I think is the right manager. He's got to be backed and if he wants to be successful here he's got to move on the repeat losers.

The level of overhaul to get the squad that Clement wants and needs is never going to be achieved in one window.

Man City didn’t even manage it when they brought Pep in and that was with as close to unlimited resources as any club is ever likely to have.

We can't do it all in one window.

But we can start laying the foundations in the summer of a new squad.  We need the spine of a new side we can build round.

We also need a massive improvement on transfers. We don't just need ability. We need players with stronger mentality and character. Guys who won't accept being 2nd best.

  6. He's not immune to criticism and last few games he deserves his share.

However we've seen this same story play out time and time again. These players get close and crumble under the pressure.

I think Clement is the right man to take us forward but he's got to be allowed to send the usual suspects packing. If the same players are given yet another season we'll see the same results again.

Only 4 points from the last twelve. The worst possible time to hit a dip in form, and we now face a difficult game on a nightmare surface, the potential for a perfect storm. It is amazing how quickly things change, just a few short weeks ago we were looking great for the Title and a possible treble, blow this tonight the Title will be gone and looking forward to Sunday through the gaps in our fingers. Just got to get this done tonight, whatever it takes.

The drop in form has been brutal.

Unfortunately we have some players with previous for bottling title races. It's hard to see them not collapsing again.

Hope Clement can get something out them last 6 games. If this lot have blown another one then it's long past due for a clear out.

We still could qualify for the CL mate thats not over

It's not guaranteed but. We couldn't plan our spending thinking it would be a sure thing. While if we won the league we could with automatic entry

What you have just written is spot on unfortunately.

We need a huge clear out, but how do we fund the new players we need to bring in, that is a big concern.

Squad needs gutted and has done for some time.

If the title is gone that's CL money that could have helped.

We'll need player sales and wages freed up when out of contract players go. Sale wise but Butland might be the only one that could fetch a decent fee.

  10. Took a golden opportunity to win this title and fucked it.

Same bottle merchants as usual. I don't believe they can win 6 straight. They'll drop more points especially if defending remains the same.

Why do we have to suffer Sutton for Sky and Stewart on Sportscene?

Neither have the ability to remain impartial.

They take every opportunity to try and advance the myth that every decision goes against celtic.

With the clear intention of increasing the pressure on officials.

    Both were embarrassing today.

It's been that way for years now with media coverage.

Always a bias pro-taig pundit who will push thier narrative.

I wouldn't either. But how realistic is it that you'll win the league without beating them once?

Can't remember it happening in my lifetime.

But it's entirely possible this season.

A draw at the piggery if we win our games up to then and we're in with a good shout.
