It has Liewell written all over it, I don't know if he has any official role at the SFA, but his tentacles can still reach anywhere he wants to go I have no doubt.

We all know it's him that runs things really. Doncaster has always been a puppet.

Remember the rousing speech shite when the Dundee vote got pushed through.

Board have to really fire back on this.

That was really bad and surely our board will respond to it. If we let them away with what they are insinuating then it will be a black mark on Bisgrove IMO.

Board have too. Would they put that on at the end for other Scottish clubs not a chance.

It's just another example of us getting painted as the bad guys when we rightly question their decision making.

SFA absolute wankers, I wonder if we will respond to that?

We absolutely should especially that bit at the bottom about comprising the safety of matchday officials.

Are they for real. Only one fanbase has threatened match day officials when results haven't gone for them and it certainly isn't us.

BTW we could do with some allies in this battle. Shame Scotland would rather self destruct than back us up even if its for the good of the game and all clubs.

Scottish clubs haven't given a shit about the good of the game for a long time.

Anytime we question something we're painted as the bad guys.

Dundee vote, Cinch deal and the TV deal when we were the only ones that questioned how bad the TV deal was. They even took digs when we talked about introducing VAR after we beat the tarriers at the piggery.

Wanting more transparency and the officials audio to be released will probably be another one that won't happen because we asked for it.

At the very least they have shown they don’t have the bottle to call the big decisions against the tarriers .

Could well be bigger than that .

Some officials don't have the bottle because of the shit storm the tarriers create when things don't go their way.

It's either media campaigns putting officials under pressure or their support intimidating officials.

Definitely some but like collum who are bias.

Chris Sutton flips Rangers blame game as Celtic hero tells them what's REALLY astonishing after SFA blast

Rather than make Willie Collum a scapegoat, Sutton has asked what Todd Cantwell and Cyriel Dessers brought to the table.

Chris Sutton reckons Rangers should play the blame game with their own players rather than Willie Collum and has told them what's REALLY astonishing after their SFA blast.

The Ibrox club released a statement hitting out at the SFA for delaying releasing the audio of the VAR process that led Collum to not award them a penalty for an Alistair Johnston handball in Saturday's Old Firm defeat. Abdallah SIma was offside in the build up, although former Scottish ref Bobby Madden has since claimed that because the match wasn't restarted with a free-kick for that offence, then it meant Collum had concluded that no penalty should have been awarded regardless.

A still image of Sima's offside was sent to Sky Sports to show during the second half by the governing body. Rangers have 'concerns over the motivation" for this, and are "astonished" that Collum apparently would have ruled that no penalty should be given had Sima been onside.

But Sutton has slapped down the Govan gripes, pointing out that other clubs will be just as perplexed at a lack of spot kicks conceded by the Gers in the last two years. And he insists the blame for Saturday lies at the misfiring feet of Cyriel Dessers and posted missing Todd Cantwell, rather than the man in VAR room.

"There was a big contentious issues in that Rangers were not awarded a penalty.," he told the Mail's It's All Kicking Off podcast. "Rangers are complaining to the SFA, they want the VAR audio from Willie Collum, who was on VAR with Nick Walsh refereeing. They want the audio of the conversation.

"But the way they've actually gone about this, I'm surprised myself. There may be other clubs out there who are similarly astonished and similarly concerned at the non award of penalties against Rangers over the last couple of seasons. I think it's 72, 73 games - two years - since there was last a penalty awarded against Rangers. That's astonishing.

"Do not blame Willie Collum for your deficiencies, Rangers. Fact of the matter is, had they a centre forward who could put his boots on the right feet, they may have actually ended up winning the game.

"Todd Cantwell hasn't turned up for a meaningful Celtic Rangers game since he's been at the club. So if you're looking for someone to blame, Rangers, blame your own players.

"Do not blame Willie Collum because essentially, they came to the right decision, however they did it."

    :wanker:

    Usual pish from Sutton.

If the roles were reversed and that handball went against them. You just know the narrative would be completely different with this prick calling out the officials.

All I can say is there is no conspiracy talk from their fans tonight and why is that? Because the last few weeks of pressure has paid off for them today.

They have this down to a tee now. Everytime old firm approaches they ramp up the pressures on officials.

If we want that to change we need to be getting ahead of them and fighting fire with fire.

We've got plenty from the last 2 games to use. Disallowed goal, penalty and 2nd yellows that should have been given. Bring this all up before the next one.

Mentality is the biggest difference between the two teams. Don't think there's that big of a gap in ability with the majority of the squad.

Across the squads I don't think there is a huge gap. They are stronger in some areas especially striker. They have one that's consistently scoring in these games and we would need to go back to find the last striker we had that did it consistently against them.

Mentality but is the key here. They come into these games expecting to win after a lengthy run of winning the games that matter. You can see we've still got players that fall apart in these games and that's not changing until Clement can start to move them on.

The club have made the statement but they have made similar statements in the past and I expect the usual pattern to follow. It'll die out and nothing else will happen. Then a few weeks before the game against them at Ibrox the "Rangers penalties" stuff will start again in the media from filth favouring "pundits" etc and unless a Savco player takes a hatchet to our centre forward we won't be getting anything.

And what exactly do their players have to do to receive a second yellow? While Rangers players are in the book with one tackle. It's frustrating as fuck but how we end it I've no idea.

Only way to end it is to fight fire with fire.

The scum have this down to a tee now. If the roles had reversed yesterday it would be the biggest story going for weeks about the officials.

We need to be doing stuff more publicly. The next game when the inevitable rangers penalties come up. Counteract it by highlighting how many penalties they get and hammer home how in the last 2 games they have benefitted from the decisions not us.

Give Hearts what they want for Shankland, I’ve seen enough

We can talk for days about ref decisions, other players performances etc but when you’ve got someone up front who cannot challenge for much less win a ball in the air and is incapable of any kind of hold up then you’re already up against it

Said today watching the game put Shankland through like Dessers was and that ball would be in the back of the net.

Unbelievable he doesn't get a shot off. Absolutely bottled it.

  11. Officiating today was awful and club should be asking questions. I'd quite like to hear the audio about the penalty being discussed. It was also unreal they finished with 11 after several fouls from players already booked.

Officiating is one part of the issue. The other is how toothless we were in attack. We don't have anyone near clinical enough and it needs addressing in January.

Against them in the past decade we have been pathetic.

I mean we have managed to get to a European final, beat the likes of Dortmund, Betis and others yet against them 9 times out of 10 we get turned over.

Folk say its not mentality but it absolutely is.

For our club our record against them is a disgrace and we need several players punted from our starting line up to change this. Next month and the summer is massive

It's been mentality for a long time. We've got too many players scared of these games and used to being 2nd best.
