For the first time in a long time I'm not disappointed going out of Europe. It's been great, don't get me wrong, but as everyone can see, our squad just can't cope in 3 competitions. Although we were poor for spells tonight, we still ran them very close. 
Hopefully now we can get our squad back to near full fitness for the last push for the title.

Gutted the way we lost the goal but we move on. League and Scottish Cup to be won 🔴⚪🔵🇬🇧

Sheriff Lindsay Wood, Glasgow Sheriff and well known Rangers fan has passed away. He was always in the Director's box at Ibrox and like many Bears, he followed the team everywhere.
He was also instrumental in setting up the Drugs Court which helps addicts get clean and get there life back. He probably saved a few lives by doing that as he treated addicts as people who needed help and needed someone in authority to actually believe in them instead of putting them down as just another junkie. When an addict died, he had silences for them, such was the measure of his compassion. Woe betide an accused if they abused his rules though as he would come down on them like a ton of bricks.
He also made sure lawyers were kept in line too. I had a good few run ins with him when I was on both sides of the table but once you stripped away the bad mood, you learned that he was just trying to help you.
His Chambers in the Court were a Shrine to Rangers and were dubbed Little Ibrox due to the artwork he had on his walls. He was always up for some football chat once the business was done.
He only retired last May and there was a huge party for him, and he kept everyone well supplied with alcohol. That was the last time I saw him and we had a laugh over things I had done as a Junior Lawyer before he told me to watch out for his brother.

That was fucking Benfica ,... their budget dwarfs ours.... we gave a real good account of ourselves and a couple of breaks we could have gone through this tie. PC is a miracle worker with some of the players he has had to work with ....

Agreed. I'm gutted but we have just ground to a halt. There's a lot to be proud of and if I had to choose which tournament to lose, it would have to have been this one. This year anyway.
 

Good God no. Lot of football to be played and as we all know things can change very quickly in the football world. We are now the hunted instead of the hunter, being top brings with it a different sort of pressure than when you are playing catch up, however with Clement in charge I am sure he will keep the squad focused on the one game at a time approach that has been working so well and will hopefully keep us in our hard earned position. It will be interesting to see how the other mhob react, will being knocked off top finally galvanize them, or will they totally crumble under the increasing pressure from the hordes whose mood is growing increasingly uglier with every passing game?

Imperative we keep Clement for three or four years, if we can we could open up a gap not just in quality but mentality.

They probably thought Furuhashi and Maeda up front option as well as Abada stepping in for Jota was good enough. Cant help but think our form under Beale has left them fooled as well that its all done around end of september. Still amazes me how they didnt get a striker in Jan window and now they are paying the price. But since our OF record of late id still wait until a proper win on 6.04 to be confident.
