minnbear 30 Posted April 13, 2011 Share Posted April 13, 2011 dad love you.just to let you know of my sadness today. my father who was a rangers fan all his days passed away suddenly today he took me to my first rangers game over 40 years ago.although he was 84 years of age he was still a bear through and through.how fitting it will be for the rangers to get the win we were only talking about yesterday.miss you. w.a.t.pSorry for your loss pal, ma da passed about 7 years ago and I still give him a running commentary of every game. Thermopylae 15,288 Posted April 13, 2011 Share Posted April 13, 2011 hi m8 he had just fought lung cancer from asbestosis but was doing welli had a wee drink with him before the cup final and he was in good spirits. but my mum has dimentia and i think it just pushed him over the edge and he died at 3pm today of a heart attack at least the bears won for him and he will be happy that we are all happy thanks w.a.t.pI'm sure you relished the time after the cancer and that is what matters.
