Waste 8
He's playing ok. I think folk are so used to him being terrible that a half decent performance gets blown out of proportion
gary73 39
edu always looks like a much better player when he doesnt have mcullloch dragging him down!

Canuckbear089 4
To be honest he's been one of the better players for us on the pitch, but that doesn't really say much as we're playing absolute pish right now. Think we need to take off Ortiz as he's just been hiding all game IMO. We do need to get the ball out to the flanks more in the second half and spread them out then I think they're there for the taking. Naisy looks like scoring today and hopefully he'll grab one or two. minstral 5,375
Just a shame he wasted that cross into the box in injury time with all the time in the world to pick out a player.

scottyboyblue 61
I've not seen any reports this morning about Bedoya, i see he isn't on the bench, is he injured?

He was his usual wasteful, listless self.

King Jela 21,811
Him and Davis should be in the centre next week with McKay on the bench and McCulloch at home watching it on the tv.

Broxi 12,214
Nah you were clearly watching another game I'm afraid, Edu was not wasteful at all. This post is just typical from certain people who refuse to give Edu any praise and will always slate or slag him for nothing. Some people really don't understand football or actual key positions in formations, Edu was playing a Busquets type role today and did very well for what he was asked to do. Such as keep possession, start attacks, switch play, protecting the back 4, closing down play and Edu also set up the best chance in the first half which Naismith should have scored with. Some think if you don't take players on or score goals you don't play well, which is a load of nonsense and a typical British mentality.Very strong case he was MOTM.Played great today. docspiderman 1,318
I thought he played well today and it was so noticable when we took him off that we completely lost the midfield battle.
StuartM6 279
Broke up the play very well today, especially in the first half. Very rarely gave the ball away or misplaced a pass. Wrongly substituted. Good performance.
DarcheVinny 1,003
Edu had a better than average game. Although, my interpretation of his average game is a poor performance. So really, he just had a game neither worthy of too much praise or criticism. If today was his average performance, he'd nearly be worth starting every game. Nicika Jelavic 7
Some excellently timed challenges today. Not wasteful in possesion, always attempt to stand up for him despite his poor performances, It's obvious from his performance today that there is a talented player in there, same with Whittaker confidence players.
