AyeReadyStu 70
Did they say/do anything when we got a really soft pen up at Inverness with Goian?
markybear 136
Oh dear, that's the 1st time I've seen it. Not flattering for aluko
Agoram1 42
He does go down easily but I can't see how aluko can get banned when o'connor got off with it.
Blue Bear 7
I saw mad mental Martin Hardie take a foul shy at the start of the second half. I think the panel needs to review this urgently - the shy needs to be awarded to Rangers and Hardie banned for 6 games
simon 1,758
Surely it's the referee that should be penalised? He was the one who made the decision?
markybear 136
What I don't understand is how they can up the punishment on a review panel when it would only be a yellow during the match Baffling
TheBoyDave 123
Why does Hardie grab Aluko's arm?I would say to hinder and slow the player down.Grabbing and holding players is not the correct way to tackle and win the ball hence a foul. The referee may or may not have gave a penalty if Aluko stayed up.Sone is letting the referee know he is being impeded. The penalty is of the soft variety but a soft foul is still a foul.If this happened in midfield for a freekick instead of a penalty this would not likely flag up.Hardie should not try to gain advantage by tackling illegally especially in his own box.I do not think we would be happy conceding a penalty like this and would likely say that the player went down easy.If Aluko is cheating he is doing so to Hardie who cheated 1st. Marco Negri's Beard 1,423
Surely it's the referee that should be penalised? He was the one who made the decision? The long and short of it. SFA too cowardly to penalise their own. I'll eat my hat if they ban Aluko. They can't after the o Connor nonsense
Redmond7 1,203
Surely it's the referee that should be penalised? He was the one who made the decision?Thats what I don't understand either. No matter how you look at it, lets say when a player goes down deliberately to get someone sent off and the ref falls for it. Then in the aftermath its refered to a 'review panel' and the player is banned for umpteem games and the referee, the one who actually made the mistake, gets off scot free? How can that be right. And surely as well it has to be based on the referee's report because the referee's word is final thats what FIFA keep telling us about why they wont use proper technology, or is the ref, who didnt bat an eyelid before pointing at the spot, now going to pretend he got it wrong? Whole thing is a pile of utter shite.
RobertN 393
unreal how is it whenever a rangers player hits a bit of form he gets a unfair ban naismith wylde now aluko thank fuck walker and crocker were not commentating as they would no doubt have exagerated this even more
dan_ger 1,454
At what point did Aluko ask for a penalty?Oh yeah he didn't.

RyanMac 185
When did we start questioning refereeing decisions? He made a call, that's it. What would be the point in referees otherwise?
Clemdog 39,389
Did O'Connor not get let off?Not read the thread yet, probably been mentioned many times already.
Ger for life 199
unreal how is it whenever a rangers player hits a bit of form he gets a unfair ban naismith wylde now aluko thank fuck walker and crocker were not commentating as they would no doubt have exagerated this even moreWell Billy Dodds didn't do Aluko any favours on Sportscene when he accused him of diving and stated that he didn't think the SFA will let him off! So much for once a Ger always a Ger!!
ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
Since Lawwell got a seat on the new SFA panel, we have been getting reviewed alot.
King_gazza 1,065
Bet fuck all happens to that Sunderland player that dived to win their penalty today.
NorthernLights 2,526
Let's say that it was a dive then. If the ref did his job properly then it would have been a booking. Can't punish Aluko anymore than giving him a booking.
King_gazza 1,065
Just seen the highlights on shitescene.Funny how they never showed the 1st penalty shout which was 10 times more than the 1 given.Same ref that let O'Connor off with his dive.Bet it won't be the same outcome for Aluko
bluebellsareblue82 15
Odds on Sone will get a ban and no one will be surprised that he did and Oconner got off on apeal. As for billy Dods on sportscene " I was a striker and I never dived " I right Billy i was a teenager and i never . then.
Understated 10
I can't stand diving. It's my one pet hate and something that a few of our players have been embarrassingly guilty of in the last couple of years. The Aluko incident is ridiculous IMO. I hope he does get a short ban to show that you can't do this shite. It's a fucking man's game Sone - get on with it instead of throwing yourself to the ground. mark_ni 12
So if the ref decides he has dived he gets booked yet if the opposition manager gurns about it after the sfa will review it and could ban him for 2 games. Ridiculous. Are they going to ban sammy the tranny for going down like he was shot when he got " assaulted by fingernail" nah I didn't think so. Nothing was even said about his reaction. Joke of a league. Any wonder no one takes Scottish football seriously
