So many 'I've never heard of him or seen him play, is this how low we've sank?'

Bizarre reply. Utterly bizarre.

Wasn't a few months ago we were linked with Afriyie Acquah and people were cumming themselves despite not knowing him

I for one hope it is true. Not seen a lot of Sutter, but what I have, I've liked.

Do you rate Ganso, Gotze, Danilo, Muniain, Heung-Min, Oscar, Courtois, Canales, Casemiro or Ayew?????? :)

He could be a brilliant prospect/player, just because we havnt heard of him doesnt mean he is rubbish.

I would hope football followers would have heard of these!! They are far from hidden gems.

Cant say I have ever heard of him, if thats the best we can do then we really are fucked. Jeez :anguish:

The fact you dont know who he is says more about your football knowledge than the players ability to be honest!

Young Boys have been challenging for the swiss super league the past 3-4 years and hes been a 1st team player for them for the most of that. He is 2nd choice RB for Switzerland behind Stephan Lichtsteiner (I take it you have heard of him) who is a very good player!

Cant believe anyone would say, ive not heard of him and if thats the best we can do then we are fucked...completely stupid...although i do agree we dont need a RB. Well we do because Whittaker cant defend for shit but we need other areas improved first!

I'd be happy with this tbh.

We need to be targeting players of this ilk: playing at a decent level already, at an age where he would have sell on value (I know this is only a loan deal) and already has experience of European.International competition too.

Thumbs up from me if it's true.

I was at a Grasshoppers game a few years ago and wasn't that impressed with the ftba.

SWISS outfit Young Boys of Berne want to talk to Rangers about a move for right-back Scott Sutter.

The Ibrox club are sending Steven Whittaker to a specialist over groin trouble and reckon he will be missing for at least two months should he require hernia surgery.

They are drawing up a list of potential replacements for Whittaker and have been linked with a loan move for 25-year-old Sutter.

London-born Sutter has fallen out of favour under head coach Christian Gross and Young Boys are looking for a buyer.

However, they would be interested in sending him to Glasgow on a short-term arrangement with a view to something permanent happening in the summer.

General manager Ilja Kaenzig said: “That would certainly be a very interesting possibility. Although the Scottish League is not one of the best, Rangers are a top European club.”

Promising.

Refreshing to hear someone talk like that, in the bold, about our club.

Never heard of him but could be very good. My only reservation would be the fact that a very average team at best are willing to let him go on loan. Surely this indicates he isnt good enough for a team we should be better than? I would be a ot happier to try and loan fringe players from big clubs south of the border to be honest.

Kind words, good man!
