This is a guarantee last minute bid accepted and we will be left without a striker, or quickly go for Sandaza, O' Connor or a player of that availability in the SPL!

it is the worse case scenario, but i dont think it will happen.

When we hear we have won the tax case and it was a typical misprint by the papers and we were actually taking them to court for a £50m rebate, we will let Jela go for free and bring in kenny miller, michael owen to mentor jordan rhodes.

If this happens the whole management team deserves the sack. Being skint is one thing, but being unprepared is inexcusable.

This happens pretty much every January tranfer window and really if Whyte wants the money for the sale Ally has no say in this what so ever!

We will take in a Bosman transfer and it will be fingers crossed this guy can hit it off for us!

Teams are well aware he wants to move on so how can we force a sale if the player himself doesn't want to move.

And if it is the team he wants to move to how can we tell them to pay up now when they know they can come in with a shite bid on the last day knowing full well Jelavic wants to move to them.

He did it with Rapid Vienna and he will have no qualms doing it with us if the right team comes in for him.

In such circumstances there is very little we can do to counter it or get top dollar for him.

We can however stand our ground and say he is not for sale but we then have an unhappy player on our books not trying a leg.

Is this not why we currently have a striker on trial, made enquiries about Holt and were looking at the Polish boy on loan?

Obviously we can't make any moves until Jelavic is off and we have the money.

In an ideal world we would have our pick of quality strikers but we are where we are.

With the Euros comin up I think we'd see 6 months of effort (tu)

I can see it happening, 2 hours til the transfer window closes and we agree a fee for Jelavic

leaving Ally scrambling around for another James Beattie!!!

Maybe that's the intention and Whyte wants to trouser the money.

I still think Whyte has to put up a wee bit more cash but as a supporter you always want that.
