Don't know enough about Claros to be fussed, but I Do think if Jelavic goes without a decent replacement the fans will start to lose patience fast.

Tax case or no, they still pay enough of their hard earned, to give them one of the biggest supports in Britain week in week out. For that alone they deserve to expect to sign a better standard of player than the likes of hibs can afford, we still have a league to win.

Let's see what the next 36hrs brings.

Is it realistic to think that his club thought they could could hold us to ransom with him and when we wouldn't play ball they decided to loan him to hibs?

Bear in mind this doesn't necessarily mean the junkies can pay more than us,with it being a loan deal a whack of his wages will be paid for them.

we can all say he's pish, hibs are his level and he can't be that good...

the bottom line is,ally rated him but couldn't get the wages to get him, hibs can offer him a wage and we can't(allegedly)

that's embarrassing,no matter what way you look at it.

Or maybe we can offer him the wage but don't think he is worth what he wants? If we bought him there would be increased wages and a transfer fee, Hibs will only have to cover the wage he is on at the moment or maybe not even all of it.

Not embarrassing at all.

Well done to our club for not giving into demands for some nobody to sit on the bench, we have enough of them.

he won't be on huge wages,i'm guessing on par with our youths? who knows.

we obviously wanted him enough to extend his trial and put in an offer for him.

The way we deal with transfers is an embarrassment. If the players arent good enough then thats fair enough, but Ally has made it clear that he wanted to bring in both Brozek and Claros and yet they have gone to other SPL clubs.

But obviously not enough to come out today and offer to pay a greater percentage of his wages than Hibs, which we could easily have done given they are probably paying what to us is youth team wages.

I think we just didn't want him that much.

Hopefully a good signing for us... was it a case of you wanted him permanently and not on loan but couldn't afford the transfer fee?

LOL, perhaps he'll help you gain promotion from the first division next year. :uk:
