We hear the same thing every summer but they always manage to sneak into the top 4 and I expect them to do so again this year.

Chelsea, Utd and City are miles ahead of them. Spurs have went ahead of them with the signings of Paulinho and Soldado and could potentially have a lot more to spemd if Bale goes.

He clearly doesnt want to be at United anymore.

Choking to work with Jose no doubt.

Its all talk though, has Rooney ever publically said he wants to leave? You hardly hear anything from the Man Utd camp apart from trying to get Fabergas which clearly isn't going to happen. If they got him Rooney would probably be allowed to leave if he wanted

SAF said he wanted to leave at the end of last season and it was SAF who talked about him handing in another transfer request too.

Moyes and Rooney have had previous and are well known not to get on anymore while SAF is still lingering about making Rooney even more pissed off it seems.

Then you have him not appearing in pre season with this mystery injury in a closed door game just hours after Chelsea put in a second bid.

He’s wanted to leave before and this is the second time, he is 27 and will have a few years left at the top so it looks like he wants to spend it under the best manager in the world at this moment.

United don’t have to sell but Rooney is clearly wanting out.

Chelsea looks like the best option for him he will be the main striker there and Mourinho would be a more appealing option to work under than Moyes. I doubt it will happen until utd get a strong center midfielder like Fabergas first
