Rio Ferdinand calling him 'naturally gifted'. I hate that. Scholes wasn't born with the ability to read the game, shoot with power and accuracy and pass the ball brilliantly. Nothing natural there at all. He's worked extremely hard at every skill he possesses.

Of course he was naturally gifted. That doesn't mean he didn't work hard to build on his "gift", though.
