As a Bankie, this would be a special game to see! Remember being a young boy and seeing Clydebank vs Rangers down New Kilbowie Park. Always look out for Clydebank scores, even went down to Rugby Park for the Scottish Junior cup final a few years ago.

The game after Jock Stein died was v Clydebank at Kilbowie, there was a minutes silence when you could nearly hear the grass grow, it might have been Ally Dawsons debut as well, what a game he had that day, never reached those heady heights again.

Ally Dawson made his debut in the mid/ late 70s.

15th August Holm Park 6.45

Mark Hailstones testimonial. Was supposed to be the end of last season but there was a mix up so been rescheduled for August 15th

sounds like a great game to get along to

As an aside, what sort of crowds do Clydebank pull to games these days?

Is there much support for the 'new' Clydebank?

Aye i have been having a look at Clydebank's (where the feck to apostrophes go...) official site and they seem like a great wee club playing football and enjoying themselves: at the end of the day that's what it's gotta be all about.

Couple of hundred a game usually and decent wee away following. Their budget is tiny compared to some teams in the division but they finished 3rd last year
