Dear Peter,

On behalf of all of our children, please accept our most sincere and heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of £500.00.

From a broken arm to end of life care, from simple play activities to innovative medical equipment and ground breaking paediatric research, our driving passion is to fund any initiative, that helps to save or improve the life of a child and by association positively affect the lives of their family.

“Thank you very much for helping lots of other girls and boys like me to get better.” Jenny Cook aged 9, Yorkhill patient.

Your donation will help Yorkhill Children’s Charity to provide and support excellence in paediatric, obstetric and neonatal healthcare enhancing the treatment, care and wellbeing of children and their families through The Royal Hospital for Sick Children at Yorkhill and other hospital and community based services locally, nationally and internationally.

A recent example of our support is a contribution of £192,500 towards the relocation and expansion of the Donor Milk Bank service in order to meet the increasing demand and maximise the potential of the service by providing greater access to live saving, natural milk for premature babies. This funding is in addition to more than £175,000 already donated to this service over the last 4 years.

Together we can help to make things better for even more children and families across Scotland and beyond. For more information please visit our website http://www.yorkhill.org

Thank you so much and we hope that we can count on your continued support.

Yours sincerely

Dear Peter

Thank you so much for the donation of £500.00 from Rangers Media, and I would be very grateful if you could also pass on my thanks to everyone whose kindness has resulted in such a generous donation to MND Scotland.

Your generosity means we can continue providing the care and support needed by people living with Motor Neurone Disease, and their families.

Your donation will help us to fund the Specialist Nurses who deliver and co-ordinate the care needed by someone with MND. It will help us to provide the information and emotional support people need when they are diagnosed and throughout the progression of their illness. It will help us to continue funding research so that one day a cure will be found.

Until that happens, MND Scotland will ensure that the best quality of care and support is available to everyone. The number of people with MND continues to increase, and we need to recruit more nurses throughout the country to ensure that the best quality of support can be maintained. We will only be able to achieve this because of people like you.

You can find out more about the difference you making at our website at www.mndscotland.org.uk and in our magazine ‘Aware’, which is also available electronically.

Thank you for helping us to make a difference. We couldn’t do it without you.

Best Wishes for a Merry Christmas, and happiness in 2014.

Peter,

Wow! Thanks so much for your generous donation! We are entirely dependent on member donations right now to keep things running. And we make sure our members' donations go a long way. Every $1 donated helps approximately 8 patients find friendship and support on one of our communities. We will keep pushing forward until every patient knows that they are not alone.

Warmest Wishes,

Ben

Dear Peter,

Thank you for your kind gift of £500.00 to support the work of Alzheimer Scotland. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and will help us to make sure that no-one goes through dementia on their own.

On behalf of Alzheimer Scotland, thank you again for your generous gift. Your gift will help us to maintain and develop our work improving the quality of life for people with dementia and their carers throughout Scotland.

See how your donation will help Alzheimer Scotland.

Kind regards

I had emails back from 3 seperate people at Ben's Friends, really appreciative of our donation. Their total running costs are around $2000 per month, we donated $819. This will mean more to them than the rest of the donations made, you can tell by their emails how delighted they are with the donation. Another example:

Peter - a humongous thank you to you. We're incredibly grateful. I'd love to send you a book of our patient stories. Are you an ebook guy or physical copy person? If physical copy, please send me your mailing address.

Again, this is a truly wonderful gift and we're super thankful!

Scott

I'm especially glad to be helping a charity like this, particularly one who are helping the mother of one of our own members, in a way that will make a big difference to them. Really heartwarming, the stories in their book are amazing (I've got a pdf copy).

Great stuff as usual BP, gb and rm in general.

Anyway, don't want to sound a grump and I better have a selection box when I get off the rig!!
