1st_Jan_1994 4,868
Following disgraceful plans put in place by police Scotland today - no drinking and no large banners this is where Rangers should come out and demand showdown talks and seek assurances and resolutions Get it done and fast and don't let them try to ruin the first big day we've had in two years Compare in contrast to Celtic a few months back who took the issue head on with the same police saying banners were banned from McDermid Park and got justice Get it done Rangers For once

RFCstuart 317
Ra sellick do it in public Rangers do it behind closed doors. Rangers backed the fans over the banners. As far as i can tell they told fans they were allowed, which should be a formality. The police have since said they're not, the club haven't backed fans over anything

topgoalie 637
Well said 1st Jan.This is getting fcn ridiculous now.For the first time this non event has exposure far and wide.So what do they do in their wisdom, try their damndest to make it just that....a non event. But per usual Scotlands biggest and most successful club will turn it up a notch.Loud and proud the Rangers way.......fck them. RFCstuart 317
Is there anyone that is expecting some sort of statement or action from the club?
Muirheadbear 1,483
We can make so much noise and bring so much colour without annoying the police. We all know certain songs and flares are taboo so don't do it. Let's make Sunday are great advert for the club and our peerless support. WATP!!!! KingKaiJohansen 118
This is the type of thing our club is fucking useless with. As soon as the police made these announced then Rangers should have been shouting from the rooftops about it. These bans wouldn't have been in place for any other clubs in this final so why let it happen to us.
1st_Jan_1994 4,868
I'm genuinely glad with this threads response and everyone agreeing - assumed there would be a few Bp9 types along to derail it
RangersFanBase 611
If it were a regular Ramsdens Cup Final (I.e Raith Rovers vs Annan Athletic or some pish) then there'd of been about 50 Police officers, and a few hundred fans, big banners covering the empty seats etc.But because it's us; there's probably going to be over 1,000 Police officers in the vicinity of the stadium that are part of shite like "FoCUS" & "FOOTBALL GOOD BEHAVIOUR TEAM" Shocking. Club should be getting these twats straight.
cameron1873 511
This has really pissed me off. What is wrong with having banners at a game.Over policing is taking lot away from the game imo
