Inigo 32,534
Elena had been living with liver problems since the age of 19 , unfortunately it's been liver cancer that's caused her death , 30 is far too youngYip. An absolute warrior to have achieved what she did with the problems she had. A great example to us all. RIP, Elena.

Inigo 32,534
Shouldn't of caused any significant increase in risk towards liver cancer unless she was very close to it.The family was from Kiev, about 50 or 60 miles away. More than likely impossible to tell if it had any effect, although the likelihood is it's just your average spontaneous cancer. IIRC, some places much further away in Europe received more radiation exposure because of rainfall (bits of Scotland suffered a fair amount!) than Kiev. Also, for whatever reason it seems to be thyroid cancer that's most associated with the radioactivity.
