mick1271 521
I wouldnt be happy but I would accept it if the other option was another year in the 2nd tier .
legalbeagle 3,734
Would you aim for promotion through the play offs- noIs it good enough for us to get promotion through the play odds- noShould the manager leave if we don't win the league- yesWould you accept promotion in the event that we won the play off final- yesI view the poll question as a bit of a combo of those questions, so have no idea how to answer it. The Dude 20,026
If we can't get up automatically this year and go up through play offs there would only be embarrassment to follow in that we wouldn't be good enough to put on a show in that league. It's not too late but we do need to get our acts togetherWho won the playoff last season?
The Dude 20,026
Obviously I'd accept promotion via any means. We need back in the top league. However I would find being in the position of having to accept promotion via a playoff the most embarrassing and humiliating moment of my life as a fan.Really? There's many more embarrassing and humiliating moments I can think of.AdministrationLiquidationKaunasZizkowSeveral old firm gamesUnirea UrziceniBerwick in the early 2000s
cumnockbear 2,446
No, we should be winning this league at ease.
Zappa6995 3,684
If we found ourselves in the playoffs then of course it would have to be accepted anything less would be wishing Rangers to be beaten and in all my years I have never wished that to be the case. G.E.C. 19,001
Playing 6 defensive minded players against the second bottom team in the Championship was a new low.
Gerwelly 115
I wouldn't be happy about it but we need to get promotion this year IMHO.
one55 1,510
i would take promotion via play offs instead of spending another season in the championship.however i don't think we should be aiming for it. we should be aiming to win the league. ally shouldn't be going about saying it's acceptable or whatever. when you play for rangers you should be playing to be first not second. we shouldn't be settling for second place. rangers isn't about accepting mediocrity. it's about winning, being top and being first. nothing less.we desperately need to back in the premiership so aye if the only way was play offs then so be it. i just think it's disgusting that the manager/players aren't aiming to win the league. laudrupno1 3,932
It will be embarrassing if this is what happens the Rangers way should be winning this title and at a canter.

StornowayBlue 630
some bizarre comments here. I personally would accept promotion with a bung, I don't care how we get there, ill accept it. The question is not will I be happy with it.
ManchestGer 347
I'd be happy to go up but disappointed with the way it was done and very worried for our season ahead in the top flight

G.E.C. 19,001
Are we capable of winning the quarter and semi finals? We don't end up in the final automatically if we finish second.
Balgreen Bear 15
Would rather finish 5th, if this clown cannot win this league then he doesn't deserve any chance to go up.

Probably the 2 biggest games of McCoist's career (if he's still in a job) and I don't think we'll have the bottle or motivation.

We've beaten both comfortably so far in the league this season and if the players don't have the bottle or the motivation (McCoist or not) then they should be chased. Corky True Legend 2,682
In reply to GOAT, I am surprised, nae shocked, that 65% of so-called Rangers supporters do not want us to be in the top tier. As has been previosly posted, acceptance does not equal being happy with the state of affairs at Ibrox, only that we want up. Obviously we ALL want Rangers to go up as Championship winners. GOAT is so appropriately named.
Courtyard Bear 41,357
Of course I would accept it, we can't not get out of this league at first time of asking.Would I be happy about it no, if we can't win this league what chance do we have in the top flight the season after.
