BigAmo'sThighs 848
Aye, a few of his kicks were slack, when pressed, he seems to dally too much on the ball..... But having said that, he's doing exactly what's required of him to play a attacking 4-3-3. Some of his catching from corners and distribution in hand was superb. He hasn't been tested with a shot on target yet, and I reckon he'll be a decent shot stopper too Really impressed with him, and the understanding will come with the rest of his team mates when he's on the ball, players need to show. We won't be punting it long under Warburton, within the next few weeks, the understanding will come IMO. Great team performance first half, fantastic to be back and enjoying my footy at Ibrox
BlueThunder 8,454
I have no fear when he comes to catch. Compare and contrast to previous keepers....

Jelavic191 4,558
He gives me the fear with it but he does look to actually be quite good at reading the runs for some of his passes.
the goal machine 7,824
Far more confident with him in goal than Cammy Bell. Every time the opposition got a corner, I'd be close to having a heart attack.
Duncn 247
Feel a lot more confident at corners with a keeper who can command his box
King Jela 20,687
He'll get more comfortable with the ball at his feet over the season. Next game might be tricky for us though
MrMckee 3,436
defiantly an improvement on bell in terms of commanding the box yet to see him need to make a realistic save.. him and the defense need more time to gel really will have a better judge of him in games to come
BigAmo'sThighs 848
There are times when whacking the laces through it is the correct option.Agreed, and by and large I thought he did that when required, when he had time, our players weren't showing as well as they should have IMO, making the team closing him down a lot easier. Still early doors though, but I like the new style and it'll perfect the more games we play

Hearts did it last season and won there, while we didn't and failed to win there on a few occasions.

We're having a few shaky moments but it is very early days and he is commanding his box when the ball is in the air, which is great to see. maverick1200 2,883
He still looks a tad nervous. It'll come. It's a new style for him and it'll take time for him to adjust.
ScottBF2 3,540
I'm willing to give the defence time to gel. The goal today was our own fault and the penalty likewise. We need to tighten up at the back when not in possession, but it's difficult to do that and maintain the level of pressure we put on the opposition as well. Need to find a happy medium.Tav needs to understand when to commit as well, a few times he flung himself in and his pace helped him recover, but when making those tackles in the box it has too be 100% or nothing. johanhentze 14,327
I think he looks like a keeper who is still trying to get used to the whole style of playing it from the back, but I am confident that he will become better as the season goes on. AldoKrfc 106
He will come good. Seems to pick out great passes when he has a bit more time.
LegendofCoop 17,490
I'm a pessimistic cunt, so I'll say he's a total bomb-scare with the ball at his feet! Great at crosses though, but by fuck does he need to work on his kicking. Trouble is, the defenders/midfield always pass it to his right foot. bombaybadboy08 15,660
His kicking was fucking shite but he done the goalkeeping things well He will come good.
EastEnclosureBear 2,972
He got my heart beating quick tonight a few times. I thought he's going to save this penalty then Thompson ballooned it over the bar
stuvah 146
He is a bit of a bombscare with the ball at his feet at times but his distribution is generally good and he is a big commanding keeper at crosses and corners, can't really comment on his shot stopping yet but I am confident he will be a good keeper for us. Tumshie 205
He's been told by Warbs to play that way. Sooner folk realise that the better. Tried to explain that at half time to the 2 goons behind me but they weren't having it.

EatDolphins 5,358
Thought he was decent in the second half, looked to have more confidence. His close distributing puts the shitters up you right enough. Not seen much of him in a shot stopper way since our defence is much sturdier. Blackandra 732
Only worry is he fucks about a bit wae pass backs. But he comes off his line like a sweeper and comes for corners. Night and day fae Cammy Bell
Clemdog 39,389
The best thing about him is his self confidence, which isn't an easy thing with the job he has to do starting from the back. With experience he'll learn to just punt it out on the rare occasion, but his handling in the air is a breath of fresh air after last Season. Apart from that we don't actually know if he can make a save or not .
