People need to remember both players have something to prove. Prove they are good enough to be around next season. If not they'll be out along with law temps Clark deano Crawford bell and all loan players.

Next summer is gonna be rebuilding job this time with higher quality of player. I expect 11/12 to leave and 7/8 to come in

They're being signed for next season though.

I can't see MW upsetting the squad with that amount of change in one window tbh.

No it's not. £4 million for lafferty was stupid, that kind of shit was ridiculous, 6 months shows the company don't have enough to terminate comtracts where required. You can't have it both ways. Is King a liar or is he not?

Wtf man. So big contracts for tav, waggy. Wes and kiernan but you want to focus on two guys who have loads to prove?

Windass will be signing a 3/4 year deal so where does your nonsense fit with that.

Forrester is a boy who lost his way, fr nearly signing for Ajax to struggling to get a game at donny.

He's a player MW knows and if he proves he can do it he will be offered an extension.

How do you know that?

You don't think it seems more likely that 6 months is at MWs bequest? I don't know, but it seems more likely to me. We'll see if he complains about not being supported sufficiently. He hasn't so far.

Common sense - you sign a player on 6 months he walks free in the summer ffs, he could be worth £2 mill by then

Haha. Every other signing MW has made has been like 3 years bar Millers extension. Why single out two players who have something to prove fitness and ability wise? To suit your agenda? How do you know Windass isn't being signed to a 3 or 4 year deal?

Football wise - we're managing.

Business wise - gutter.

Football wise - progressing pretty well.

Business wise - much progress made, much to be made.

Because i know we have next to no money, there's no agenda.

you can't call the man a liar because 30 million hadn't been spent. For all we know he meant 30 million over how many years but lots of fans expect us to start signing silky foreigners which is a huge gamble. I'm pretty comfortable with the club borrowing from the current incumbents than the last ones. Neither scenario is ideal but at least we're moving forward on the pitch and not going backwards

Foderingham was wanted by reading and an other. Waghorn an ex England international, tav had played against Warburton before and he'd managed kiernan who was about to sign for brum before we came in.

Aye yer right windass will sign for two weeks and a nandos card

Or he could flop, leave and be worth nothing.

Feel free to criticise if your scenario actually happens, and MW misses the bus.

Maybe MW had more confidence in them, and thought they were less of a chance.

You don't sound like you have much confidence in his judgement.

Keeper as well. I know we're living day to day on loans but its a sign that we are being tight as fuck.

Only if you choose to look at it that way. What would you prefer? A 6 month contract for these boys to come in and show what they can do,then if they impress we offer them an extention. Or. We throw a 5 year contract at them and if they struggle with form/injuries we're stuck paying wages for fuck all?

Maybe we should get Ally back to handle contracts,he done a fucking outstanding job the last time

6 month contracts are good for the club and player, player plays well gets an extension, we've signed players from the best clubs and leagues in the world one 3-4 year deals and have been fucking shocking

We can't win either way.

If we sign someone on a 6 month deal and they are successful, they're free to move on after raising their profile at the end of the season

If they turn out to be pish, we should never have signed them in the first place (tu)

Welcome to RangersMedia.

No matter what, the club is wrong.
