Kenny is our player of the year without a shadow. Not the best of games today until THAT fucking goal! Screamer. Great skill.

What he posses that too many in that team do not, is ability. Our other striking options couldn't score in a barrel of fannies.

Now, would you offer our player of the year a new contract, particularly when the rest of the squad are made up of quite some dross?

I would big time as a coach and as a sub that can change a game.

The no. 3 position I feel was ready made for Miller. Quite articulate, commands respect and knows the game inside out and a future potential manager.

No disrespect to JJ but there is no comparison to Miller. JJ no doubt will come much cheaper than Miller would command, but if he goes it will be our loss in these times of austerity.

He's a loyal servant to the club, One of the best players we have,Works his socks off and even in his spare time he helps out with the youth.

People keep saying how he's a role model for the younger players,Perhaps some of our first team players should also look at him as a role model given his effort, fitness and dedication to keeping himself that way.

Most players his age just look for a quick payday, Miller has got better as he get's older and his fitness would put players half his age to shame.

It's also a bit unfair to leave him hanging on a new contract and unwise given he could agree to join another team right now, Think Miller would be happy with a new two year deal and think he deserves it.

Oi. If I am not getting to decide then neither are you.

In all seriousness, the new manager is just in the door. He needs to assess his squad and determine what he needs. Then he will see fit to give an extended deal or not. No way will it be 2 years though.

Granted his age does go against him slightly, But if he maintains his fitness then why not.

He's also a much better option than Waghorn, Think Miller will be looking for a 2yr deal but still think he would accept a 1yr deal with perhaps a view to extending it if he does well.

If the manager has someone else in mind and he's better than Miller then that's fair enough, But if he doesn't it makes sense to keep him.

I'm not actually sure. I just know it's something one of his kids asked him to do, and he's done it ever since. Certainly looks like some sort of "W", Possibly Whitecaps?

Jeez, look how young he looks. It would be great to have a young 34 year old Miller like in the picture! ?

You're right. There is no comparison.

One is a relatively experienced coach, the other is a current member of the first team playing squad.

There's absolutely no reason Miller should be considered seriously for that position. Whether there's a place for him when he hangs up his boots is another matter.

He made Wags and Garner look like a pair of turkeys.

When Pedro was asked the question after the match, all he went on about was the great job Fods did in between the sticks and I hope he signs Kenny for another year.

Put the other two dead legs to shame.

You can see his age is catching up, unusually scrappy at times but shows his hunger and desire that he always tries to win it back. Same as when he was screaming at that carthorse Waghorn.

He has been terrific over the years for us. What a finish today for that opener.
