Lack of transfer activity

Apart from Dorrans it's been pretty quiet recently we're not even linked with anyone which is concerning, worried our transfer business might be done imo we still need another 4,2 wingers and 2 fullbacks

Shite for us fans but as we seen with the early transfers we have closed shop media wise, it's brilliant! I would rather they just get announced rather than pointless links and rumours

Any budget remaining should be focussed on attacking quality.

Kenny Miller still appears to be the #1 attacking threat.

The defence being so bad last season, hid the elephant in the room. The attack.

The team needs goals and needs to sign somebody that gives guaranteed goals. In Scotland having a 20 goal striker, even if he struggles at top level (ala Boyd), makes a big difference. We badly needed it last year, and probably would have finished 2nd with a genuine 20 goal striker.

Could be right once the EPL squads are announced I'd prefer permanent transfers though we haven't exactly been successful in the loan market

We haven't exactly been successful with permanent transfers either.

Two weeks ago many on here were saying this was the best transfer window in 10 years etc...

Just curious? Is it because we got put out of Europe that some are worried?

No, because we've now seen some of them playing and they don't look very good.

considering 3 of our new signings havent even played for us yet, and another 2 nly have less than 90minutes between them, its a bit early to say we need more

You are being very pragmatic in yer old age jim :mutley:

We've seen a turnaround of 16 players (in's and outs) in the space of 4 weeks now.

Thats a ridiculously short space of time for such drastic changes to be made. By the time the season starts/window shuts it's probably going to be a turnaround of 20-21 players maybe more.

I think once the new DOF gets his feet under the desk we'll see a few come up from City on loan as well as Walker.

Just shut the fuck up.

Never signed so many players in a window.

All staggered arrivals, and yet folk think either they should have gelled by now or worse, we've not signed enough in one window.

Folk are fucking oblivious to what it takes to form a TEAM  from so many new individuals.

Is this because you don't think buying 9 players is enough? Or because you've written off everyone after two, albeit shit, games?

Ridiculous post. Especially as you haven't stated which positions you think we still need filled.
