We are a mess, fans actually are accepting of an inexperienced under 21 coach being our manager during a salvageable season. Some are actually happy he’s getting the chance.

We’re well on the way to becoming nothing

I agree its not ideal but I like the work he has done in the last 10 days, we are where we are atm and he seems a safe pair of hands.

He’s just gubbed the man the board thought was our saviour twice in one week. There’s literally nothing else on the horizon at the moment, so frankly he’ll have to do whilst we find a pot to piss in.

People being content with him being in charge isn't because he's a nice guy or whatever other nonsense people are saying, it's because he's shown he has something about him. He's not ready to be our manager full time but he's 12 games or so into his managerial career, cut the guy a bit of slack.

What do you mean, on our way?

With king at the helm we are worse than that. Try, more toxic than nuclear waste.

LBH here, we are atrracting no one of a decent calibre. We started with McKinnes at the top of the list and we are now working our way down it ffs. What fucking chance?!

Can't fault Murty for stepping up. He may not be the answer but he is quite firmly all we have got and I'm at least grateful for that. None of this pantomime is about Murty and all about our board.

We are going nowhere with them.

This.

I wouldn't be surprised if he does well up until January. It's the least he deserves tbh.

It's nothing to do with Murty, he's done a great job and I was pissed off at people hating on him when we had those poor run of defeats.

As you say yourself he's not ready to be our manager, and that's the point - we shouldn't be settling for anywhere near this standard, and if the board think we can just get by with him and the fans accept it, we are truly not the club I grew up supporting.

We at least deserve, with 50 000 fans attending ibrox, to have a manager - interim or not - whom has actually managed a football club before. There may be something about Murty, but that is simply not good enough.

Either that or fail spectacularly. However I think Murty has earned the chance. It seems that the squad like this guy, I would imagine that they will be prepared to burst their bollocks for him as opposed to Pedro.

Given that there does not appear to be a stampede of top level mangers battering down the doors of Ibrox, at the very least Murty should be given to the end of the season to see what he can do.

No, he has not earned the chance...yet. His record is still at best poor, or unfulfilled, and no doubt our crackpot philosophy of the board ignoring basic requirements of actually backing and demanding a manager has 100% control of player, especialy regarding experienced individuals, and a lack of  investment, would probably come back and hit him hard.

Graeme has a potential long term future at Rangers and deserves it imo. Or he might even move on to another club to gain vital managerial experience. Would not like to see him humiliated by lack of experience and lack of board backing this early in his career.

As I keep on suggesting we need a strong proven manager with the balls to kick this club and even our inept board in to place. Shame the likely candidates are all past their sell by date.

We have had a very interesting few years lately,  some of you may have noticed..............so it is sort of expected that we will have a few more.  Going a few months without a recognised manager  - not done that before.  We are specialising in this not done it before malarkey. Bring it on  and we will survive.  As always we are the main story.  As long as we stick together and support the team,  we will be ok.  Remember your wooly hat on Saturday coz its cold - and it'd better be a red, white and blue one.

Two chances; fat chance or slim chance, & slim's out of town.

Criticism is pathetic without incisive alternatives.

If we lose tomorrow this thread will go into meltdown..

He has got a massive opportunity tho.

We have shown over the last 2 games that we can walk all over Aberdeen.  So we have the players to make an easy second place.  A poor performance would just reinforce the need for stable management in place.

So it's tricky... if he tries too hard he might get the fucking job..

It was a 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 staying tight and compact, don't talk pish that he couldn't have thought of that  Not saying he didnt get help but it's not like he went there with radical tactics or anything
