BridgeIsBlue 66,654
Board turn away Gary Rowett, appoint Caixinha. Board sack Caixinha, don't entertain MPH who publicly stated he wanted the job, Give Murty the role until the end of the season effectively killing the campaign in the process. Fantastic business decisions. 35 Yard Dangerman, KeyserSoze and dougie76

Cardiff gave him a new contract recently and I doubt he'll be able to resist a last chance to prove himself at that level what with him mainly being known as a promotion specialist Would like it though mate always thought he'd be a good fit here Prso's headband

BlueKnight87 17,438
Preudhomme CV is really impressive. He had a record of taking struggling clubs and turning them round. He would have been a good shout after pedro. But the board messed this one up. He said he was interested in the job. But king and co after several weeks went for big game bottler mciness. I can't imagine the guy will still be interested after being knocked back.

sassaaaa 11,406
Preud’homme, 58, left Brugge in May after almost four years there. He said at the time: “I leave Club Brugge with the very best feeling. Over four years, I have achieved good results with this club and we can be proud of the work delivered. But after 40 uninterrupted seasons in football, I feel like I need a rest. “If I was ten years younger, I would never leave this club, but now I want to rest for an indefinite period.” But although Brugge allowed him to quit, he is technically still under contract with the club. They put a clause in his contract that ensures any club or country that wants to hire him as manager must pay up the rest of his contract. Preud’homme said last week: “I’m still under contract with Brugge for two more years. “They do not pay me now because I had a clause stipulating that I could stop if I wanted to. But if I want to go to a new club or country, they would have to negotiate with Club Brugge. “There is cash compensation required for me to leave the contract.” Supersonic

I don't know if the guy would give our board the time after that. Only one way to find out for definite. I feel like it would've been far better timing to get him in after Pedro and it's quite the risk going down this road at this stage. No where near the risk of giving Pedro the job right enough, but a big risk all the same. I feel his style of football certainly fits better with what the board and DoF have been hinting at. I can only hope the board are looking high and low for a real, quality replacement for the summer. My confidence in them is non-existent though. TMB 14,167
When we were after McInnes the overwhelming sentiment on here was that we needed a British manager, proven in Scotland, a safe pair of hands that could achieve things in a budget. Has all that changed since McInnes knocked us back?
