The Time For Change Has Never Been Better

You certainly would be if you wanted to keep funding your enemies and do direct harm to the club.

If you just want to watch the football then fine, stick to those threads. If, on the other hand, you seek to get a fair whack for the club then political action requires to be taken.

If I were the club id boycott ticket sales but open Ibrox up on the away match days and provide some pitch entertainment.

If it doesn't change it will stay the same, or get worse.

There is no Scottish football without us.... sooner we played that car, the better. Indeed, one of SDM's masterstrokes was to concede, to the diddy 10, whilst the filth were all for hanging them out to dry.

Even if we had to team up with the filth. The pair of us, controlling our own TV rights, could see somewhere in the region of 10-15 times the TV revenue we currently get.

Where is the basis for getting somewhere between 22m and 33m per year for individual TV rights?

What happens to the rest of the clubs when their revenue is decreased - for some the TV money is a large chunk of change? Now whilst people would like this to happen where do we source our players from then when they leave the league due to much lower wages for the likes of lower England. When the competition we are up against is just above part time?

Dave King is on a rant for whatever reason but as fans we should not lose sight of what a mess we are still in. No conspiracy has forced King et al to run up losses in the last 3 years till we have around 22-25m in debt, our commercial income is pish and we are chasing the dream of champions league football which will result in losses until then - this is not sustainable but lets all jump on the conspiracy band wagon with dave, proclaim we are leaving, boycott all grounds and hope against hope with no away support we win the league soon to hope our debt is not so huge as to impact on our future success.

Wanker

He frequently is, but loathe as I am to say it, he's got a point here.

How many teams voted to try and cripple us believing their own fans would make up the financial shortfall? So I would certainly welcome us doing this in the league to try and starve these teams of the so called blue pound. They may turn around and refuse to take tickets for their visits to Ibrox but we already have a solid home fan base, something these teams don't or at least not in the numbers that ourselves and the taigs do.

For Rangers as an entity to continue and challenge in Scottish football then something has to change and change soon or we will be left further and further behind the taigs.

Do you go to away games?

so what happens when

- the co-effiecent falls even further making it harder to get into Europe

- the pool of players to recruit from to fill the home based rule becomes impossible due to quality

- players dont want to come to us as the league is filled with a mixture of full time/part time teams

id like the club to just play its games and nothing more, do not let them use our stadium for any events, dont do any press, do not allow our players in the Scotland squad, take the bare minimum amount of away tickets, do nothing to promote Scottish football and try to make life as difficult as possible for the SFA, drag out any potential tv or sponsorship deals etc

basically let them know if they shite on us well do the same right back to them. We are bigger than all of them combined and without us they mean nothing so lets make that point and let them see that when someone is backed into a corner they will lash out

id like us to win our 55th title then the very next season withdraw from the SPL and apply for a license in England or something like that, we could take our 55th title that we deserve then leave them to rot and never have to play in this ambomination of a league again, cant see it ever happening tho.

Id rather start a new league with the smaller clubs from the lower leagues and give them some funding instead of those who want us dead. With the blue pound funding the league in a few years those smaller teams will be the same size as some SPL clubs if they play us 4 times a season, again i dont think this will ever happen but its a nice thought, to get it up the lot of them and do things our own way.

The uber staunch miss the point in a basic first principle, but let's not spoil the fun even if it helps the club get the upper hand on these hating cunts. Just keep feeding them and let them hate more as they fatten on the blue pound.

Wooossssssshhhhhh...

Would love Dave to call a boycott on away grounds. He's on a roll!

Going to away games is one of the most enjoyable aspects of being a football fan.  Some posters seem to have forgotten the simple joys of supporting your team, preferring to rage at everyone.

Yes of course it's very enjoyable but whilst you're playing ball with them they're sticking the bat up your arse.

The above article is one of the best I've read in a very long time.

I'm with Heart and Hand, The Host and Blue Fin on this one and fuck every other club, paper and anything associated with Scottish football and fenian society. Sadly SG may be then faced with more issues than we or he would want or need but this is about more than the game and that is my only regret. This is about us being completely ostracised in our own Presbyterian country by a very long list of dirty fenian bastards who will up the fucking ante more and more as time goes on.

Stop being so fucking selfish. Stop being an apologist for all us bad bigoted cunts. Go to the away grounds if you want, no one is going to stop you but we may just make that as a polite request, but understand that you are not helping alleviate the issues those cunts have with our club, religion and National identity. When the status quo has been returned to Protestant Unionist Scotland (not only the football aspect) then please feel free to visit wherever the fuck you want because then and only then will you be free to do so without being a second class citizen.

Fuck the pope.

99.9% of us don't want us to refuse tickets to games

2 ways to look at your statement.

99.9% of us don't want to have to refuse away (I assume) tickets? This being the case then I trust you're going in the right direction.

Or are you just rabbiting shite and decided you represent 99.9% of Rangers fans?

An article that length and depth that states we are not obsessed with them

When will folks actually understand nothing but winning the league puts us back on top - the rest is just noise, false wars, and kinda pathetic and sad.

Here’s to 55!

55 is absolutely the objective, but to get there we not only need a team, but we have to beat down all the midges in our way. That means going on the offensive on all fronts.
No more dignified silence for now.

I agree, it would be great if all Rangers needed to do was get football players out there to compete. We also need a level playing field which Scottish football is far from at. Dignified silence is getting us no where.
