There must be something about him tbh if he keeps getting capped for Croatia, hopefully that goal the other week there kicks him on for us.

The guy is good technically that can't be taken away from him. He also looks like he's up for the challenge here.

Some players just don't fit in certain teams though  maybe he fits that scenario with us.

If he can settle we have a player on our hands. Totally up in the air if that can happen. Saying that hope he keeps playing for Croatia. That way we get better money for him than we paid

Maybe they don’t have any other good left backs a bit like how O’Donnell keeps getting caps for Scotland.

Tin Jedvaj - 80+ games for Bayern Leverkusen.  17 caps for Croatia.  Only 23 years old.  Moved a few times for upwards of £5m.

Josip Pivarić - Spent 10 years at Dynamo Zagreb.  26 caps for Croatia.  30 years old.  Transferred from Zagreb to Kyiv in 2017 for 2m Euros.

Marin Leovac - 100+ games for Austria Wein, 65 for PAOK, now plays for Zagreb.  31 years old.  5 caps for Croatia.

Borna Sosa - Moved to Stuttgart in 2018 for 8m Euros.  21 years old.  Was named in Croatia's preliminary squad for the world cup last year.

Seems their main LB played for AC Milan but has suffered a heart condition ending his career.  So Croatia are looking for a replacement and Barisic seems to be the man.

I honestly couldn't give a single fuck how many caps barasic has for Croatia.

The bottom line is he's been a huge disappointment for Rangers. Let's hope that goal at St mirren has given him some sort of confidence boost but I very much have my doubts.

I would be surprised if he's still at the club come the start of next season.

Strinic had the heart problem and was released by AC Milan about a week ago, but has since had the all clear. Can we sign him and punt the pansy?

yep that was Ivan Strinic  -- Aug 2018 he was told to quit playing due to a rare heart condition - by Nov he got the all clear and then a few weeks ago Milan terminated his contract.

If it weren’t for Barisic and his brilliant free-kick against St.Mirren we would be 5 points behind celtic right now.  Flanagan is out for several months the support really need to get behind Barisic now.

This is getting pathetic, if he plays well for us the haters pick up on 1 stray pass and slate him, if he plays well for Croatia then it's because the quality players round him are covering for him.

Give the guy a break and let's now see what he's capable of. If it wasn't for katic smashing him he'd probably of started the old firm game.

Every season there's a scapegoat Morelos, windass, Worrall and now barisic. Let's get behind our players and actually support them.

He's had a lot of time to show what he's capable of and when exactly was Morelos a scapegoat?

There's been a few times when the fanbase didn't rate him the way they do now. 1st season when he had the dry spell from November and at the end of the season when everybody was shite. 2nd season when he missed a few sitters and his red card against the taigs most wanted shot of him .

Aye, I don't remember Morelos ever being a constant scapegoat. He gets hammered when he does stupid shite, as does every other player in the world, but he's never been on par with the likes of Worrall and Windass who were both utter wank.

The worst thing about the abuse he received the day of getting that red you mentioned is Kent should have received the same but instead he got mugs and phone covers made of his ridiculous shite girl slap moment

Every player gets a wee shot at being scapegoat. Cannot honestly think of a single player in our starting lineup that hasn't been called shite, past it or a shitebag at various times on here. Maybe bar macgregor, who is a rat bastard instead. Just the way it is on Rangers Media.

Very bad yesterday, probably our weakest player. We have Bradarić who is so far one of Lille's better players and only 19 so he will probably replace him in first 11, and btw Tin Jedvaj isn't left back, he plays CD or RB.

Agree, looked uncomfortable last night.

Too many basic errors again unfortunately.

If it wasn’t for Goldson and his brilliant header we’d be 5 points behind them as well, do we stick with him just because of that?

Thanks for that info, I was hoping he would start playing better for us especially after his great free kick against St Mirren.

I am wondering if he will ever be the player we hoped he would be.
