This lie was started by Liewell (might even have mentioned the old “reaper cushions”) which is no surprise but it gets trotted out daily as if it were gospel and it’s just made up shite. Not once has anyone looked into it or challenged it so it’s now accepted as fact. League stops now, no champions, no relegation. European places based on current positions as is prize money. Scum go for NIAR next season, whenever that is. There will be a rebate due to BT Sport for monies prepaid for games not played but that is manageable and, crucially, is the same where we null/void or crown the scum as champions. It appears that a qualified resolution (90% vote required from premier league, 75% from championship, 75% from L1/L2 combined) is applicable to certain rules including the rule that there are 42 members in the league. So this rule applies if we change from 42 members. An ordinary resolution (75% vote from the 3 categories) applies for the majority of rules including the one which states the breakdown is 12/10/10/10 and there being 4 leagues. So if the task force want to restructure bringing in new clubs they require a qualified resolution. Importantly if it's a restructure of the existing number of clubs (42), ie 14/14/14 theres less votes needed to secure this resolution. Why does it differ from terminating the proposed way with PPG given the number of games played doesnt change? What is the contractual issue, the cost, to whom and why?
