How it works is you take a time period and you state what you think are your clubs 5 worst signings 4 best signings 3 players who you feel left too soon 2 past legends who you would like in the current team 1 future signing Because Gerrard has only been here for two and a half years I extended it to be from when we got promoted back to the SPFL in 2016 until now. My list would be as follows: 5 worst signings Barton, Pena, Grezda, Herrera, Senderos 4 best signings Morelos, McGregor, Barisic, Kamara 3 who left too soon (this is the hardest one because I don’t think we really miss any players who we have sold in recent years). McKay, Waghorn, Windass 2 past legends who you would like to see in the current side Laudrup, Bougherra 1 future signing Optimistic as hell but I think Harry Wilson is exactly what we need on the right hand side of our front three. McEwan's Lager 30,524 Posted November 23, 2020 Share Posted November 23, 2020 5 worst - Senderos, Herrera, Barton, Grezda, Martin (too many to list really) 4 best - Morelos, Arfield, Barisic, McGregor (Kent, Kamara and Aribo unlucky to miss out) 3 too soon - Waghorn, McCrorie, Gilmour 2 past legends - Gough and Butcher (think the last few seasons in Europe has shown the limitations of our back two in taking us from a good European side to one that can make quarter finals of the Europa, or knock outs of the Champions League). 1 future signing - Similar player to Kent for the right hand side. Yeah, other than Billy Gilmour, who likely would still be playing for the U20s if he stayed with us, I'm not crying over anyone leaving. Weirdly although I didn't rate Garner that much I think he would be filling his boots with Tav and Barisic's deliveries. Same with Waghorn. Think both would probably have done well under Gerrard.
