Bruno Alves. Shitebag.

The Hibs game for me showed that Alves wasn't a bad player. Came on and shored us up, scored a cracking freekick.

Mismanagement from Pedro down to Murty. Nicholl got the best out of him.

Emerson and Beattie are also good shouts.

Maniero and David Healey were disappointing given their previous records. Should have scored more even given their limited chances.

Healy was never prolific at club level and had many limitations as a player. Maniero I'd forgotten about. Heres another one, Jonas Thern, quality player who just didnt do much for us, bar that famous goal v them

Healy absolutely smashed a tarrier so value for money right there imo

Surprised Tore André Flo hasn't been mentioned tbh!

His goal scoring record was pretty decent but I think the problem was that he was a panic buy and our system at the time meant we didnt get the best out of him

I edited my post before you replied. The transfer figure made it almost impossible for him as well, but we got most of it back I think?

I was going to, but checked, and 29 goals in 53 games wasn't that bad.

I never thought he was as bad as it was made out in the media up here.

I met him in Asda once, he noticed me recognising him and asked me where he could find some kind of posh ham.  i sent him to M&S
