That first goal 100% doesn’t happen under Gerrard.

Aribo makes the early run, Kent goes to the touchline and crosses, Fashion quickly recycles instead of going back out to Tav.

Spot on. How many times were borna and Tav crossing today? Under Gerrard that’s all we did, ping it about outside the box then outside for a cross to no cunt in the middle.

Bang on it had become so predictable and easy to counter. Also like us prepared to go long when we’re under the cosh.

I think in general the Dutch Philosophy is undoubtedly one that can work pretty much universally.

Even when you watch the "Smaller" teams, say Herenveen, Utrecht, Twente, Waalwijk whatever, there's a style and belief that's ultimately started at schoolboy level.

Parents are not allowed to stand on the sidelines shouting, kids are there to listen to coaches and a lot of ex pros are involved in youth coaching.

Yep.  Kent would have played it wide to an overlapping Borna who would have swung a ball into nobody with hearts having men back.  I loved last season but we had become a bit predictable.
