I cant imagine it would feel like Rangers anymore.

Mate you aren’t going to eradicate a loyalist fanbase and a club that already sells out its ST’s just because the owners have money

City couldn’t fill that ground before the money and even now it’s piss easy to get league tickets to their games

"Despite the judge accepting that there was a connection between Bennell and Man City and that he was scouting for them, coaching their feeder teams and helping to organise trial games for them, the club has escaped liability on a technicality,"

But aye congratulations.

The first time the city of Manchester football stadium (later the Etihad) was properly sold out, was in 2008.

For the Europa League final between us and Zenit.

It doesn’t even really feel like they’ve done anything as ridiculous as that sounds. Man Utd’s seemed like a genuine achievement, this one just feels literally plastic

Manchester United was genuine though, Fergie took a fucking struggling club, even nearly getting the sack himself early doors and turned it into a power house.

This feels fake, because the owners could've literally picked any team and done this. It's been what, 15 years?

This sort of shit happens on football manager or FIFA, then you get bored of it and make yourself harder challenges.

It's strange that it could feel so fake. Inter winning would've been the football feel good story, sending the corporate juggernauts packing again.

They could've done this with West Brom, Swansea, Bournemouth. It's a bankrolled monster that's buying up football.

Genuine by spunking money on high wages and players.

Yorke and Cole were big transfer fees.

So City deserve credit then, because money doesn’t equal success?

They've spent billions upon billions, way beyond the reach of other clubs, even buying other football clubs to assist in that process, ensuring that they had everything the best that money could buy.

Including getting one of the best managers in football in to lead the hunt for that success.

Not to mention that at several points along those years, they breached financial fair play. Not that it mattered, because no other clubs can compete with their level of spending.

Money doesn't always equal success, in this case it was pretty much guaranteed however.

Aye, because, Real Madrid, Barca, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man United, Arsenal etc etc all spend buttons on players.

Real Madrid are spunking £35million on a boy from Brazil that they canny even get for another 2 years. Man United spunked £90 million on Pogba, £70+million on Lukaku and McGuire, look at a list of Chelsea highest ever signings and you’ll be lucky to find a good signing, Arsenal spending £70million on Pepe.
