It happened four times in the Premier League last term, but only once so far in this campaign (compared to two at this stage last season). They should just make accidental handball a non offence just like it was for over 100 years . It never needed the meddling that’s turned it into a farce. There are bigger problems , eg the modern thing about players clinging onto opponents like limpets at every corner kick or the ridiculous feigning injury at the slightest touch, that need addressed. It stinks of corruption, anyone who understands football knows that wasn't a penalty . I noticed in the news today the ref who gave it is being stood down from duty for the Europa league, but there needs to be a deeper investigation into his betting and bank accounts.
