In business damage to reputation is major so that is why he went down the legal route. I like it, means he is not one to be fucked with and might actually fight our corner.

:lol:Sure the Easdales have a collection of interdicts maybe we should bring them back. Equally sure having a need for them far from ensures their business reputation is squeaky clean.

High profile with experience of working at the top level of football who clearly wants the job. Obviously we won't go for him because he would likely want to shake things up.

Never heard of him, but what am I missing about him being a great candidate?

Guy was a comms director mate and also did the equivalent of what Creag Robertson does for us at the minute, now he runs a football agency I think, he'd be even worse a candidate than Gillespie was for CEO

I don't disagree with his comments on the profile of the person we should be looking at though

Obviously I don't know what really makes a great candidate for a football CEO behind the scenes etc but he worked at the FA for 17 years and ended up getting promoted to be their managing director which is a powerful role in football, he's worked for Aston Villa, Leeds, Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest in various roles. Much more impressive CV than someone from Hibs, Hearts or St Mirren.

Is that not where he started with the FA but he worked his way up? When he left the FA he had the same job title with them as Stewart Robertson had with us.

Massive job. Might not want it, and everything that comes with it.

That’s one possibility. To be honest, I haven’t encountered many people who have the mentality to get a job offer like that only to realise it’s too big for them. For the sake of the club, let’s hope it’s true though, because it’s probably the most palatable explanation at this point.
