Blue Stars Bearette 1
Boumsong, Maloney, Hutton.......have failed to make the grade down south and that won't go unoticed. ok Hutton is injured but he had a couple of really bad games before it happened. This will force the price down and make clubs more wary ...dunno what Kinnears on...so far its been Barry, McGregor, Boruc, Mendes, McGeady and Madjid he's been linked to...only Mendes has proved he can cut it down south of course the Newcastle fans will think he's on crack or something

Danny 9
Tugay, Reyna, Ferguson. To name just 3. To say players from the SPL don't do well down there is plain wrong. There was also this Swedish guy who played at Man Utd for a while...

BlueSuedeSambas 53,919
What about guys like Flo, Henchoz, Juninho, Ostenstad & Camara. Guys who have come up here and never hit the same heights that they did in England. Do they count, or is the criticism only a one way thing?

rangerdan 0
our guys have done well down there, just a few havent hacked it. And ferguson WAS a big success down there, he became captain despite only playing 30-odd games due to injury, was easily there best player
Cumbria_blue 51
Giovanni Van Bronckhorst was another one. He was never given a proper chance at Arsenal. Though he's shown what a great player he is since at Barcelona and Feyenoord.
alstone 374
Arteta is outstanding at everton, he is by far their best player. Obviously he's not hailed as one of the best down there because players that play his role such as lampard, fabergas and gerrard are playing for better teams get far greater praise. Ferguson did well there untill he got injured, Tugay, Reyna Cousin, (Duncan Ferguson and Paolo Di Canio to go back a few years) Hutton was good at Tottenham, only bad game i remember was the one against Arsenal but they managed to sneak a point out of it so i think he got off the hook a bit. And the players you have listed are all far better footballers than boyd. These teams would rather a big mna who can hold the ball up but score 4 goals a season

Emerson 2
Did fuck all for blackburn. Didn't make a great impact at all. Other names for the list: McCulloch did well for Wigan but since he came up here...nuff said. Anti Niemi was one of the best keepers during his time in the EPL. Richard Gough was immense even at the age of 38 for Everton.

GersDude90 1
Ferguson Did fuck all for blackburn. Didn't make a great impact at all. Was he not the captain of a good Blackburn side? Was Mark Hughes, who done very well with Blackburn, not desperate for him to stay? When it was clear he wanted to leave Blackburn, was there not a host of premier league clubs looking to sign him, including Villa and Everton?
