Miller was sent off by referee Willie Collum for kicking out at United defender Darren Dods during his side's 7-1 victory at Ibrox. Rangers were adamant video evidence would clear their player but in a statement issued through Press Association Sport, the Scottish Football Association said: "In accordance with the provisions for claims of wrongful dismissal, the referee, William Collum, was requested to review the circumstances of the player's sending off, in conjunction with the Referee Development Department. "The referee has indicated that he is content with his decision, after confirmation of the player's violent conduct using both arm and leg. "The claim is therefore dismissed automatically and will not be referred to the review panel. Loovens wasn't an appeal against a red-card though it was a disciplinary hearing to see if he should face any punishment over his assault on Edu, so completely different situations. I dont think Miller deserved a red but there was not a cat in hells chance that Gollum was going to change his decision... he wouldnt have been able to hold his head high in the hospitality lounge of Torbett Towers on Sunday if he had...
