Bears r us 30,796
That sounds not bad but I remember the one after the cup final and will wait and see what they say in the next one before giving them too much praise. Â Â Â

Can't help but feel if it was the rainjurs we would get a hefty fine and 3 cup games behind closed doors. As well as worldwide condemnation for being animals. Not poor wee shite clubs hibs or Motherwell tho. Next time at first park I'm going to chib the Motherwell  Goalie to uphold "sporting integrity" because there has been a precedence set that it's allowed because im feeling over exuberant. Love these buzz words that come to light against us lately. Ayrshire Blue 2,053
Boycott the Scittish Cup and play friendlies instead (Linfield, junior clubs, etc). Give the Blue Pound to deserving causes!
Skyson1872 2,923
I really don't understand is, what more did people want the statement to say? Yes they could have mentioned the fact our charges are basically the same but even then I'm not sure if they would be allowed to, good statement IMO
sammy cox 664
The players themselves should be getting the players union onto the case and suing everyone who was involved in this shambles, sfa security chief, match day commander the whole nine yards of this pish. The club also should be suing these incompetent cunts for their part in an utter shambles. Howsitgoing 4,281
Great statement. Suspect the timing of the SFA report wasn't an accident, today's sports news headlines will be filled with transfer news. Wait a couple of days till transfers have been discussed and then let the bastards have it. This incompetent bastards should lose their jobs because of this. If ever there's a case of dereliction of duty then that fucked up pish from the SFA, is it!! Embarrassment to Scottish football.
BLUEDIGNITY 33,647
"Rangers Directors will take time" to consider an appropriate and more comprehensive response to redress our grievances but for the moment the board fully endorses the incredulity and anger of all Rangers supporters. If you can't fire from the hip after this slap in the face you never will, it'll disappear up its own arse, this sfa/spfl mhob know the strength of our board and are messing them about like a scud book !
Capital Blu 615
Strong statement, but without "strict liability" in place the SFA were always going to go down that path.

Minutes after we sign a 2nd choice centre half that didn't really want to come anyway? After having had the report for what 2 weeks? They must think we zip up the back. Reformation Bear 6,453
Shocked and alarmed.  Quite right too.  And asserting that the SFA has failed to tackle the matter and has wimped it by putting its priorities on damage to its own property more than damage to players and staff of Rangers. But was this sort of 'avoid the real issues' line by the SFA not anticipated by the Rangers Board? Do we not have enough experience in recent years of the SFA's lack of proper, effective, independent leadership and of their capacity to balls matters up on a spectacularly consistent basis? To need to 'take time to consider an appropriate and more comprehensive response ...' is unfortunate. Perhaps unavoidable if some anticipation had not been made of the SFA line, which in itself indicates our execs may not have had enough of a pulse on the way of thinking at Hampden.  But still unfortunate.  Assault on players and staff is a very serious matter.  But there was no indication by the SFA of the importance of this is a very serious matter. Clearly a firm and substantial response is needed.  I don't think that should be confined to issuing withering statements.   Tangible action is needed to bring the SFA into the real world on this matter.   For starters, why could there not be an immediate reaction of withdrawing Rangers players from all Scotland squads at all levels since it is patently clear that the SFA is prepared to set aside any duty of care to look after their safety and welfare.   A threat of boycott of the Scottish Cup, and being prepared to carry out the threat, may be a way of bringing the SFA into line.    An immediate message spelling out that this is one of the measures the Board will actively consider - in fact has no option but to consider - since SFA has placed zero value on the safety and wellbeing of Rangers players and staff.
