I think it would be even worse to have them in a squad and not playing.

I just find it baffling that we are on for a treble, were favourites to win the league, and....the belief just dies with the finish line in site.
I cannot understand how enough people in the team - people who have had the discipline and drive to make it in professional sport - can collectively lose that drive. I cannot comprehend that.
What we've witnessed isn't even what I'd call "bottling it". It's something deeper and more rotten.

It might look like half arsing it but it's not. It's because they freeze. They can't make the correct decisions and they can't make them quickly. So they end up with this lethargic passing from side to side that looks half arsed. Usually the passes are a yard or two behind the receiver or bobbling around so that they have to check their movement to receive the ball. Makes it easy to stay in shape and shuffle around for the opponent.

Based on the fact Sima should play on the left and he’s our best option on the right.

    Tav Goldson Souttar Yilmaz
    Lundstram Sterling
    McCausland Diomande Sima
    Dessers
Unfortunately nobody to replace Lundstram or Tav and Balogun has hardly played in ages!

In days gone by you’d print it out and nail it to the wall in the dressing room but Tav would probably agree with it.

Think someone said earlier that the last two performances in particular looked like something you'd see when a manager was on the brink of the sack. Sums it up perfectly, it's baffling.

I think even he is surprised at how they've shrivelled and shrunk in recent weeks.
Structural issues do exist in the side, and his selections are due criticism too, but so many glaring issues arise from the lack of character in the face of adversity. They shrivel and it infects our play.

This has been the case for nearly 3 years. The midfield has been a disgrace since Seville and the fact we sold Bassey and replaced him with Ben Davies, and have managed to bring back Balogun for a second (mostly injury plagued) spell is disgusting negligence.

I cannot understand the performance drop.
I've been involved in title challenges at amatuer level both as a player and as a organiser and well..... Once you were at the business end and had a sniff of winning - it was easy to run a team. Mood was great, everyone was willing, everyone tried, etc.
Sure the performance would drop off if the challenge died, but until that point.....
I know it's amatuer level, but surely it scales up to the pro ranks? Chance to win a treble and become legends?
    Our drop off is bizarre.
Against Ross County it was like guys downed tools and stopped caring. I cannot understand why that would even happen with so much at stake - even if the players hated Clement.

I don't think we would have got the same player Ferguson has blossomed into if we had signed him while he was at Aberdeen.
The move abroad may have been the kickstarter to him achieving his potential.

    Whos said this though ?
Everycunt knows the players should be taking the vast majority of criticism and i would say most agree on what players need to go etc ,
but when he is getting stuff wrong then he should be getting criticism too thats only being fair , that doesnt mean ppl think hes a dud or needs chased or that we shouldnt back him

All he had to say was performance and result not good enough. We lacked intensity etc

To come out and say we were well structured and organised and that he seen a reaction was just patronising pish.

Should be Souttar and Balogun going forward with Souttar on the right to see how he does on his better side
    Cannot stand Goldson just now

So is everyone in agreement that we need to get rid of and replace Goldson, Tavernier, Lundstram, Barisic, Jack and Roofe?
Its then a question of who out of the rest of the squad we can find interested parties and re-invest (Lawrence, Raskin, Matondo, Dessers, Lammers, Davies)

Don't agree we played rubbish football. We were playing well during the period he came in until Motherwell at home.

You find out a lot about a team when they're facing adversity. They are consistently found wanting in the face of adversity, lacking character, composure and decisiveness in the big moments.

Aye, you're probably right mate but I think it would sum this side up to go and win Sunday and then chuck it against St Mirren.
