I didn't see the comments about the wee kid, if true it's shocking.
Had a look on the sos Facebook page. Was sick in my mouth reading the arsekissing comments to Walter Mitty.

Could it be that we have had Pish fitba for the last few seasons (last season aside), now the fitba is picking up, we need something else to greet about?. The hatred of our club and supporters from all quarters outwith the Rangers family doesn't appear enough, therefore we need to turn on our own.

Sadly this sums up how bad our country has become. A country where you and I are now seen as second class citizens who can be abused by all and sundry.

Having slept on it, I feel that this is exactly what we need, however I accept that he will not be part of the long term playing plans.
Lessons from last season have to be learned. We had no commander on the field and a fragile defence exposed by too many in a midfield devoid of workrate and the discipline to play a specific role.
John Eustace ticks many boxes and if we have learned anything from signing Davie Weir (and on the flip side hider Law) it is not to judge a player (no matter his age) until he puts on that blue jersey.

I would never condone their behaviour, however maybe if the handwringers within our support did not act as defenders or apologists for those that seek to destroy our club our support may not be in such a dark place.

I was at Derby and the performance was poor, however this game is a means to an end and in the scheme of things means absolutely zero.
Ally McCoist definately has his limitations and has the team set up similar to Walter Smith who's teams (worth many millions) occasionally offered little entertainment but got results (similar to McCoist).
We could bring a new Manager in now at the most critical season in years and allow him to tinker with the squad (change formations, bring in his players etc) however as seen with Le Guen this may not happen over night.
The only continuity we have had in recent times is via the manager, when he doesnt get the results sack him, in the meantime hows about stopping the greetin, support the team and save our bile for our enemies.

The RangersStandard are about to publish a book about the fall then rise of Rangers.
I think it will be good to get a viewpoint on our last year or so from a fans viewpoint, not a media with an axe to grind or Celtic bloggers tarred with a sectarian brush.
