After just watching the programme and the wanker Henry's interview, how can he say in this statement eariier that they have addressed any past contacts between the club and the boys club when they keep saying they are 'a separate identity' ffs ?

“On the specific reference to celtic FC, one of many clubs referenced in the final report, the Review in actual fact states clearly that the club has gone to great lengths to address any past contacts between the club and celtic Boys Club - and have done so effectively. This is welcomed by the Review and welcomed within the review.

I thought that Thomson made a good job of it and I hope there might be some light at the end of the tunnel after it for the victims.

What I do not expect is anything from the SFA, it will only be a financial hit IMO they will take.

As much as I agree about the financial hit rather than sporting sanction, if it were to come a time where they cunts get absolutely destroyed in court and it can be left to no one’s imagination that they were guilty of the crimes, people in power aware of the crimes and covered them up for decades, that position would surely have to change, even for our corrupt FA.

Doubt it.

The SNP are going to rush through that other law which limits the compensation that can be claimed.

Will probably end up paying out  less than £1m.

What other law is that capping compensation?

Need to go through PI court/Sheriff possibly Court of Session.

Supreme court is the final appeal court and it may be that celtic will try and take it there if results do not go their way.

Mind you if the Supreme Court has already recently decided the point of law then they will not be allowed to go to the Supreme Court and it is not cheap going there either.

What is this about the SG going to pass a bill that limits any compensation as @mitre_mouldmaster mentioned  on the previous page, I had heard something about it but not sure what it means to be honest.

He’s revealed himself as a cellic placeman tonight imo.  On FF he has been identified as a former safeguarding advisor to the RC dioscese in Glasgow and as a senior member of staff in LGBT Youth Scotland - working alongside it’s then chief exec James Rennie, who was convicted of child rape along side guess who....Neil Strachan (one of the cellic affiliated youth coaches convicted of child rape and paedophilia) ....see where this is going.....

Would love to be proved wrong. But I never see scum FC getting hit with any sporting sanctions.

It will be a financial hit, however that could also lead to severe damage to their brand. The thing they put above child safety.  You would think sponsors will start pulling out if a court found them liable.

Thanks for that info S, I knew he had a strange past to be given the job but could not remember what it was, you have just reminded me.

PS I would bet that Liewell had a hand in him being appointed by the SFA.

I could easily be wrong here mate but I thought when they mentioned an upcoming law change by the Scottish Government it was in regard to reducing the legal costs for potential victims to go after justice and ultimately compensation as even Patrick McGuire from Thompson solicitors said this would be a game changer, Apologies if I picked it up wrong.

No he just said there were issues at other clubs then he went into them. Basically said Hibs, Dundee United, Partick and us. No mention of rings just said issues.

No his words were ‘it is both a matter of fact and indeed of legal record that the extensive peadophile rings in Scottish football leads to some of the biggest clubs. To Hibs. To Dundee United. To Rangers but they lead to one club above all others and that club is celtic’.

Its not, they said it was a law that limits the amount of costs that an abuse victim can be charged while persuing their abusers in court

That’s my take on that too. It’s to make it easier for victims to go to court that might be put off by the legal costs. 👍

John Cullen was the photographer.

A cleaner found his stash in a cupboard inside the stadium.

He had the stash for over 20 years.

How the fuck can you hide it that long before getting rumbled?

Do they only bring out cleaners every few decades or was many blind eyes being turned?

I know what one i’m betting on. 🤮
