:mutley: That's how we have went 11 games without losing in Europe , sure

Euro football suits Goldson as not so many high balls but he's far from convincing defending high balls in his own box and if we're honest so far he's better with the ball at his feet than he is defending.

Our problem now is that we are a much better team and most teams in the SPL realise that now.

Aberdeen concede we are way better than them and shut up shop. But there lies the problem. They, and recently Hamilton, know that if you stick a defensive wall up  we don’t have the flair of imagination to break it down. It’s why we crushed Hearts recently because they came out to play

defensively we are good if not perfect

im saying it again ( and have been for years now) we need that special no.10 - a Sone Aluko type. If he (or someone of his calibre) was playing yesterday we would have got the all important opening goal (as the dhims did) and coasted that game

the sheep game plan worked out perfectly but they will get gubbed by at least 3 goals in the final.

The Tims will be happier to play them than us in the final they know they will bottle it  they are already polishing the silverware.

Tarriers will take about 5 off them . Just like they would us , as usual .

Agree all of that. As for no10, I'd play Kent or Middleton in there.

I’m sick of walking out whatever stadium it is, after big games, feeling the way I did yesterday.

I want SG to succeed badly, but I’m getting increasingly annoyed at the element of our support that will hear no criticism towards him. Starting 11, subs (lack of), tactics, post match interview would all have seen another manager rightly slaughtered yesterday. Our domestic form is pretty atrocious and the performances havent really been much better and European achievements are papering over the cracks that are now becoming very obvious. Depressing times....again.

Its the core strength they lack at the moment. Neither is in the mould or ability of Aluko. I know finding an Aluko type is easier said than done but hopefully we can find one

Of course but theyre one of the worst teams in the league and for 86m nearly pulled it off!

No they never.

We took the lead on the 41st minute and they equalised after 80 minutes and had 4 minutes at all square before we took the lead again. So for 44/45 minutes they almost pulled it off.
