He was dealing with personal problems which SG mentioned around Oct/Nov which had coincided with a dip in form then.

Arfield has been shite for the most part this season.  It’s good he’s finding some form now but we need more consistency from him.  He’s one of the more experienced players in the squad and has played at a high level with Burnley.

His form has improved but I'm still not seeing him near the player he has been for us. That said, his goal return recently is excellent.

Undoubtedly getting nearer to the player he can be, still got some to go imho.

I have been very critical of Arfield over the space of the season and now its time to give credit where it is due he has hit form at a time when we need it most when so many are out of form. Thank god for him he has carried recently.
