I wear the official merchandise to show that I support Rangers. Not a shirt to show I support some or other fan group.

Yet we're continuously told that we live in a democratic free country. At first I thought it was that bad it was funny but now I'm so angry that nothing is being done about this, even with all the evidence.
As someone mentioned in another thread, we as a fan base sit back and hope for the best to happen, it's about time this info is known to all of us, not just a few people on some forums. If the media won't cover it then we need to, start by getting some of the main points on flyers and handing them out at our games. At the very least we could be spreading this info more.

That made me laugh. Although there is no way to prove it either way it's quite a statement to make, hypothetical as it is.As for the 2 players, hopefully they would do us proud but it's a massive jump playing for Accrington Stanley then going to Rangers.
Dare I say as well, if the boys were that good an EPL or championship side would take a punt even ar the risk of losing a few million.

I'm not that interested in the national team anymore. I simply couldn't stand next to someone that despises the team I support and my fellow fans.
I don't think less of Rangers fans that do support Scotland, it's their personal choice.

I would say the Tartan Army is the most cringeworthy support in world football.
Seeing drunken men in skirts celebrating glorious failures, pissing in the street and flashing is embarrassing and it is no wonder any self respecting person avoids like the plague.
I am proud to be Scottish but have no time for the national football team or the SFA (Scotland failed again)

I cared deeply about Scotland for a long time, never missed a game at Hampden through most of the 70s and 80s. Then something happened and from after Italia 90 onwards I felt a sort of apathy, although it was more directed at Andy Roxburgh and Craig Brown than anyone else.In the early part of this century I made an effort to go back, taking my son to see Scotland as well as Rangers - but it just seemed different. The Tartan Army "brand" had appeared, and all these guys in kilts and stupid hats were everywhere instead of guys just wearing a tartan scarf in the same way as you would just wear a Rangers scarf. I felt I didn't fit in with these guys, who only seemed to know one song about "coming down the road" ad nauseum. No mention of Jimmy Hill, or Bobby Moore.
After a few games I gave up, being uninspired by the team and feeling an alien among the support. Apathetic I remained, and when things went tits-up at Ibrox I was taken aback by the vitriol and hatred from the fans of other clubs, who seemed to me to me the backbone of the modern day Scotland support.
I never actively supported the opposition, but didn't shed any tears at bad results either. I love the country, it's as much mine as it is any kilted, hat-with-a-big-feather-and-dozens-of-wee-badges, Caterpillar-boots-wearing uber Nationalist's. I watched tonight, I was momentarily deflated at the end, but I'm over it.

Whilst the whole of Europe stands back and admirers his recent exploits I absolutely cringed today looking at the daily record trying to ridicule Robert Lewandowski. What a way to welcome Europeans most talked about footballer, what happened to this "respect" motto being rolled out in football? Absolutely pathetic media.
Tomorrow night in Glasgow heading home from work will be another cringefest watching those clowns in skirts , football tops and see you jimmy wigs.
Ill be watching Northern Ireland but keeping an eye on the score at Hampden and hopefully Poland can finish off strachan and his team of tarriers watched on by all those Rangers haters.
