Honestly only read a few pages of this thread but it kind of sums up whats broken about Rangers in particular and Scotland in general. Constant in-fighting, tearing down of those who want to better themselves, mocking people who try to make a difference, cynicism, distrust of motives, "sold the soul to the devil" shite.
30/40 years ago when the taigs were starting to get jobs in the media and in public office do you think their like minded comrades were telling them "don't take the establishment shilling"? were they fuck, they would have been celebrating every position gained, congratulating anyone that picked up work that might lead to influence in the future.
We need more people to start fighting back, in whatever small way possible, writing a blog for the Daily Record, getting on to local council elections, getting into public service, join the fucking police.... whatever but make sure that we are fairly represented because, in case its being missed, we are being fucking humped these days from all angles and all we seem to be doing about it is moaning and knocking our own.
Fighting back doesn't mean getting a gig writing a football blog for a taig infested rag and then penning an immediate expose on the paedophile ring run at an institutional level and being slung into the same category as ill phil.
It means building credibility, bringing parity in reporting, taking back a little bit of influence at a time, helping allies and developing relationships . It could take years. But if we crucify wan guy just for making a wage for writing a blog then we have no chance

Pete, I am sure your point was a spur of the moment response and probably based on the large amount of negativity that the so called fans leaders get.  (They deserve it all).
My response was that it is not the case and your response is holding us fans, that are members of C1872 (and deeply unsatisfied), in a bad light.  We joined RF to help try and save our club from the charlatens that were MA stooges, Green's assholes etc.  We were PROMISED various things with RF.  A few months down the line, the most succesful Fans Group ever gets hijacked and all the promises disapear.
Add to that, the fact that the current board's stooges are getting stuck into C1872 and there is your proper answer.  So yeah, still a load of bollocks

Don't blame them tbh.The meeting was called because members have grave concerns about what's happening within the organisation.They also need to get to the bottom of all the goings on which ended in 3 very well respected directors resigning at the same time.
Bare in mind this is an organisation that many see as totally pointless,self serving,has a total lack of transparency plus does not truly reflect their members wishes.
Now with all this as a background what do they do?They organise a meeting that is held in a venue not capable of holding all the current membership!Really you just cannot comprehend the total ineptitude and disregard they are showing for the people they are meant to represent.

This whole DOF and Head Coach appointment process seems to be just drifting along.   Maybe its not unusual for clubs to take this amount of time but it feels right now like its taking too long and as each game goes by a spiral of decline is accelerating and the season heads towards being a complete shambles.  
I begin to wonder if part of the delay is 'real world' reality being put to Robertson and Dickson (and King) by those they are interviewing.   By that I mean the Club having one view of what they are prepared to offer as a package to a DOF and Head Coach, and the candidates having a very different view of what they'd be prepared to accept for taking on what is increasingly becoming a life boat rescue.    Add to that assurances they may want about the size of a transfer kitty and bingo - you get such a wide difference between what can be afforded for quality candidates and the amount (of the overall package of pay and transfer kitty) that the candidates think is fair and reasonable in the circumstances. 
That gap then results in delay while Robertson, Dickson, King and the Board absorb their dose of real world reality check.   Outcome?  More delay while they seek to nickel and dime their preferred candidates down in terms of the package on offer and the transfer kitty assurance; or drop down some levels and shop in more bargain basement territory; or abort the idea of paying for 2 and go back to just appointing a manager because that's all that can be afforded.   
With the spiral of bad results continuing and Murty clearly out of his depth and squad confidence shot to bits and with nobody having any clue about how to reverse this in short time the question then becomes what if STs don't hold up for next season and King can't afford to pay for a DOF and Head Coach package..........   But then again have Robertson, Dickson, King and the Board found themselves in a corner where they can't afford not to appoint patently experienced and expert DOF and Head Coach and with sufficient assurances to them about the size of the transfer kitty they will have for rebuilding the team.

The LMA are an English organisation, they have as much right to call an enquiry as you or I.

Few points from that:
There's no denial from Warburton they had spoken with Forest.
Theres no denial from Warburton that his agent tried to get them out of Ibrox with no compensation.
No denial he leaked info to the Record
No denial of meetings taking place between his agent and the club.
