  1. This makes me feel old but yours is the easiest format to follow. 3 Goalkeepers— Andy Goram, Stefan Klos, Chris Woods 4 Fullbacks— Davie Robertson, Arthur Numan, Gary Stevens, Allan Hutton 4 Centre Backs— Richard Gough, Terry Butcher, Carlos Cuellar, Lorenzo Amoruso 5 Centre Midfielders— Barry Ferguson, Jorg Albertz, Stuart McCall, Ian Ferguson, Paul Gascoigne 4 Attacking Midfielders / Wingers— Ronald De Boer, Neil McCann, Brian Laudrup, Davie Cooper 4 Strikers— Mark Hateley, Ally McCoist, Kris Boyd, Michael Mols A shout out to 6 Month Marco Negri who was, for that time period only, one of the most unbelievable players I have ever seen. Right backs have always been a difficult one for us. I have included Hutton for his peak season with us. Notable omissions from fullback are Stuart Munro and Papac. I had enough left backs. Centre Mid is missing Van Bronckhorst who was probably peak after leaving us. He seemed to have a better career at full back as well. Couldn’t leave out Ian Ferguson so GVB missed the cut I have included Davie Cooper even though I was very young and he was on the wane when I remember him. But. It’s Davie fucking Cooper. Boyd gets in just because of his prolific goal scoring. Probably the least talented footballer in the team. But what an instinct for goals. Inevitably I have missed some. But would be happy with that squad.
  2. celtic Football and Athletic club was founded for the sole reason of keeping catholics away from the big bad proddies. Their existence is in opposition to us. Ergo without us they are meaningless. They live to hate us. They wake up thinking about us . They fall asleep thinking about us. They are utterly obsessed. We are Scottish football. If that lot had suffered the same persecution that we suffered and got slung down to the bottom of the Scottish league set up, they would have died. No doubt in my mind. No celtic fan has ever said to me your club died but if anyone ever did I would remind them of the above and let them know .....its all about the Rangers.
  3. People suggesting that possible outcomes of things that didn’t happen are actually facts. place has gone full retard. Never go full retard.
  4. Wtf? Goldson has been outstanding. He had a bad game against Motherwell. That aside, he has been a rock. I am continuously baffled at how people see things so dramatically different
  5. This is pathetic. Its a foul. But fuck sake it’s a foul in an attacking position. We should not be conceding from there. There are several things that have gone wrong after the foul. Ejaria not taking the boy out. Tav being out of position again. Ejaria just stopping in his tracks and not tracking the runner. I am all for going after these awful decisions. I am even supportive of referees getting punished for bad decisions and bad games. But that decision was the least bad decision we have had against us this season. We have had decisions that have went against us that were fucking criminal. Had Ejaria taken the boy out or tracked his runner we would not even be talking about this nothing foul on the edge of their box. The standard of refereeing is fucking abysmal and that is the real tragedy here. Aberdeen if a man sent off over the weekend that was never a sending off. Partick Thistle has a goal disallowed which should have stood. there needs to be a real spotlight shone on the incompetence of referees but this is not really the incident to make a big show about. It diminishes our case
  6. Fuck this. I am out. Back after the international break
  7. all over us but they were not coasting in that first half. They were going for it. We were second best today but let’s not paint it worse in saying they were not out of second gear.
  8. This league is going to the wire this season. I genuinely believe that. Today was a bad performance no question. But some of our debutants have never in their life experienced what they did today. We are on an upward trajectory and the learning curve is part of the process. Their fans stayed in the ground and celebrated like it was the last old form of the season not the first. They know the gaps closing and we will get better this season, they will not. We are 17 new players. They are 2. They are at their best we are only gonna get better
  9. Stunning goalkeeping performance. Fod’s in goal that’s at least 3 or 4 nil
  10. Wasn’t good. But still. Away at Parkhead. Fucked from the Thursday. Too many first timers, Including the manager. We all said before that it was a lot to ask for a result. As long as they learn now what it’s like then I am confident we will do them at Ibrox and only get stronger as the season goes on
  11. I think that looks horrendous. Looks like any generic changing room. Actually first thought was it’s like an American Football “locker room” but then I noticed there are no lockers. Anyway. Keep the wood panelling is my shout.
  12. Fuck Scott Brown. You know what I am looking forward to? More than the end of the horribly titled “banter years”, I look forward to the day our fans stop mentioning Scott Brown as if he is some sort of Scottish Pirlo. I fully understand that he has intimidated our midfield during This horrible period in our history but he is a bang average player and the fan and media obsession with him has really aided and abetted his ability to intimidate our midfielders. If there is nothing else that comes from today’s game I hope it is the end of the aura that has been built up around him and we never have to see posts saying “I hope bear X breaks Lego munchers legs” again Brown gets made to look the average player he is anytime he comes against teams that don’t fear him
  13. I am not as nervous as I have been in the last few, I was genuinely dreading these games last season and the results confirmed that dread. Today I am not nervous because I know that we will be competing, no matter the result. There will be no 4 and 5 nil drubbing for us. I think going to their dump and getting a result has always been the toughest domestic fixture, so at this stage of the Gerard revolution, I don't expect too much. I think we are very capable of winning, I think a draw is an ok result given the circumstances and I think a loss by a single goal would be disappointing but not the end of the world Keep all 11 on the pitch, assert ourselves in the middle of the park and play with the same intensity that we have shown early season and I think we will see where we truly are as a new team
  14. Pedro was the worst in my opinion. McCoist was no manager but was a talisman in a time of need. Hung in too long, hoisted on his own petard of WDDWA Warburton was a glorified Gamer who got carried away with his success on Football Manager and thought he could bring business principles into football. Talked a great game but just wasn’t a football man no matter how much he used the jargon. Was fine for the Championshionshio when we outgunned everyone else but found out in the top league. Pedro was a fucking disaster from the outset. Wrong culture. Wrong country. Possibly wrong game. Looked completely lost and was more interested in being the big man in the dressing room. Should have been sacked after the scum and sheep results. Shouldn’t have been given the funds to spunk in the summer. Heads should have rolled for appointing him.
  15. think we are done.... not enough time to get another deal done
  16. He is just thick. Worse things to be. If we accept that he is a moron then we will all be happier.... he is like the football version of Adam Sandler in the waterboy
  17. I think he went to Azerbaijan because he knew that Caixinha wouldn't last. He just wanted to go somewhere out of the way until the inevitable happened. Fair play to him, he has come back and earned his right to be a squad player
  18. No chance... Gerrard rates him.... he will be a regular
  19. Double Edged sword.... they go out and they lose another whack of cash.... I think we can do them this season with or with our European football, would rather they were starved of the money
  20. Gerrard is the gaffer so should take credit but also McAllister coached Halliday at Middlesborough and wasn't a bad midfielder in his day. The coaching staff have all got more out of the players they inherited than the previous coaching teams were getting, every player is better this season than they were last season and that is all down to the gaffer and his team Andy himself deserves credit for never giving up through the Caixinha debacle
  21. Not a single fuck can I give. He is a great shot stopper and commands his box and gives his defenders confidence. Never really wanted my keepers to be ballers. Just want them keeping the ball out the net
