No way shouldn’t be Dessers in front of the media today. He spoke really well on the circumstances and is a likeable guy.
 
It’s why I’ve always found myself defending him I think. Gives his best whenever he plays and is always available. Will miss chances but keep coming back for more. If the rest of the squad had his character we’d be in a far better place.

Really nice guy.  No doubt he's giving his all and for that he deserves some credit.

No, I don’t think he’s good enough either, but he’s contributed far more than most other players in this squad. I would also cash in, if we can. However, he might get better.
Our lack of goals from our midfield, other forwards (except Sima) and defenders (except Tav) is a far bigger reason for not winning the league than Dessers ever will be. Yet we don't get 190 pages on their incompetence and lack of ability.

Who’s signing him for the fee we would want? 
If he leaves us, it’s going to be for first team football to help his England chances, but I still think there’s not many clubs in England where he goes in and is the is the instant first choice. 

I always get fucked off with posts like these. It's no champ. We canny just magically hope someone comes in and gives us money for the John Souttars or Raskins. It's virtually impossible we can replace a full team with what funds well have. We will need to be stuck with some of these failures and chose where to improve.

I've got no issue with what he did, it was childish and petulant but we need a spark and if getting it right up the fans can light a fire in him then that'll be good for us.

Plus he didn’t have blue eyes.

Morelos failed to score more than 18 goals in 4 of the 6 seasons with us (and for context he played a minimum of 43 games every season at Rangers).
 
Dessers is on 19 and counting on his first season.  The criticism of him this year has been way over the top, he's a talented forward that's lacked consistency for sure, but I think he'll kick on and do much better next year.

Can’t say much bad about him today. Scored 2 goals in a 2-0 win to get us to the cup final so a good day for him 

The first goal just further adds to the mystery of the enigma that is Dessers.
Dessers has spent most of his Rangers career looking like the type of journeyman that rocks up at St Johnstone or Ross County, but there is no denying that there have been some bits of brilliance in amongst a lot of average.

i understand people getting frustrated in the moment where he shows a lack of quality. But the constant criticism from our own fans is too much. especially since it is obvious that dessers is trying. 
people were less critical of alfredo when he had downed tools in his last year.

Gets slated even when he has a decent game. Was pressing 3 or 4 of them on his own in that 1st half and in the 2nd he was good too
We all know he’s not the level we need (and I don’t think he was signed as 1st choice I think Danilo was) but the hatred people have for this guy is an absolute riddy 

I think he got the better of Carter Vickers today, was stronger in the tussles, gave him hell.  Had a perfectly good goal chopped off too.  

Gets slagged rightly and isnt the answer. 
But thought he gave 100% today and gave us a decent shift.
