One thing that does bug me is equating zero tolerance with strict liability - they are different things. 
There should be zero tolerance against illegal acts - pitch invasions, coin throwing etc. And those involved should be hammered. The club, any club, should not be held responsible for idiots.

Any  decent 'leader' - Gough - Souness - Ferguson - Greig or even Davie Wier.
I really like Tav but we could do with a standout captain on the field - someone who copes when we are down or under the cosh, its easy to lead when its going well.

Gerrard is his own benchmark. He should get 2/3 seasons. He knows the expectations of the fans, he knows the expectations Rangers hold. If he wins us the league in the next 3 seasons, he will be a successful Rangers manager. 

If the fringe players were good enough then they wouldn’t be fringe players to begin with.
