Sheep getting 850 tickets for replay

Recommended Posts

Aberdeen fans will only receive 850 tickets from Rangers for the Scottish Cup replay next Tuesday.

There were arguments over the allocation before the first game at Pittodrie on Sunday with Scottish Cup rules stipulating that clubs should receive 20 per cent of the stadium.

Due to safety rules at Pittodrie, Rangers were given just 2000 tickets. Now Aberdeenwill receive even fewer.

SFA rules allow for a 20 per cent allocation of the 50,000 capacity – around 10,000 – but it is understood the Dons will opt against requesting a larger amount of seats

That's less than TWO per cent of the stadium, with the Dons fans being housed in the usual away corner of the Sandy Jardine stand.

This is the usual amount given to clubs that go to Ibrox on league duty, but hasn't been the case for cup games.

Do the Sheep  have 850 fans who regularly attend away  matches....

I don't think so mate. Couple of hundred - tops.

Joke of a club who think they are bigger than they are.

They'll hardly even bring 850 fans on a Tuesday night

Thought their support on Sunday for a quarter final game at their own ground was beyond embarrassing

I said this the other day on here and got a few replies saying they'll bring a decent crowd down. There's no chance they would have taken more than 1000 if they were to get a bigger allocation, on a weekend maybe but no chance during the week.
