Two brilliant finishes by Dessers

Poor goal to concede but been all us so far. Some over the top reactions in here

As we all know at times it does not take long for the nerves to kick in and the frustration to mount if things are not going as hoped/planned for. I think the squad knows that this is more than your typical run of the mill game against County tonight, hopefully they react positively to the pressure and deliver the win, any win by any margin.
Big Phil will have them well drilled. Forget the occasion, just play the match. Looking forward to it anyway.

Amateur behaviour once again from this lot.

Btw Yilmaz is everywhere. I’ve caught him a few times very central both in the middle of the park and in the final third. Clearly Clement has given him a fair bit of flexibility to roam about. An interesting one tactically.

Looks very strong in the challenges for a skinny looking guy. Doesn’t get pushed of the ball easily
Like Miovski. Unfortunately, I thought he held off Goldson really well for his goal. Though I had to laugh at Joe Lewis valuing him at £8m + add ons.

Apart from slipping a few times I thought he looked pretty decent when he had the ball, mccausland on the other hand....
Yip agree with the McCausland assessment. He wasn’t bad but wasn’t great either tonight. In no way an attack on him though, very much still a raw talent and very young.

Starting to settle now and looking more the part. Good.

Matondo saying Clement has got the entire squad believing and focusing solely on what we do.
Came in to say this, although hadn’t seen Matondo’s words.
The squad must really be believing in themselves. It’s been almost perfect since Clement came in. Granted there is still work to do, but if they can just keep the wins and clean sheets coming then anything can happen. The fixtures are in our favour and if we can beat them at Ibrox we will be in a very good place.
It’s amazing what can happen in football. When Beale was in charge I didn’t fancy us whatsoever. Slightly different opinion now though…

It’s the various iterations of the front 4 that worries me. Hopefully Cortes is better than Matondo

A good 4 or 5 nil would really set the tone after the winter break. 2 wins from 2 so far, keep it going.
-
If we are resigned to losing him in the summer then I do hope we are on the serious lookout for his replacement. A top class goalkeeper is imperative

We need to get our fuckin finger out here

Been winter break since then more or less
Yeah… so he has barely played since October… regardless of the reason. He has around two hours match time in the legs since end of October. It will be a good while before we see what he is capable of I imagine.

Welcome to Rangers
Not to put a dampener on things, but have just noticed he hasn’t played a lot of football since later October. Might be a good few weeks before he is right up to speed.

A lovely finish and should have had a second.

Fingers crossed he is the quality, or some of it, that we are crying out for.

I agree, and I was extremely critical of him at the start of the season but one thing he certainly does have is character. He has never shy’d away. Took his goals very well tonight and unlucky not to get a hat-trick.
